H Bree, That 2.5 on the slide button in canva,( the one you weren't sure what it was for) I went ahead and tested it and moved it all the way to 3... instead of the 2.5 you tried, and it enlarged my design, fit perfect on my label! thanks for always helping us out!!
Wow, thank you for the instruction. You make it look very easy!! I think I may watch and create with 2 laptops side by side, LOL!! And your basket is absolutely gorgeous!! I would like to see more videos of yours in the future!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Feel free to check out my channel..I have a more recent video on how I label my candles.
@@calafiacandleco thank you love!! ❤️
Can you do a video on how you package your candles for shipping. Would appreciate. Love all your videos.
Yes! I have this on my to do list. Thanks for watching :)
Thank you so much for this video. You just saved me.
I really like the font on your logo. Would you min sharing which one it is?
Good Job
Thank you for the demo. Do you just use regular labels for the concrete surface? Or is there a special type made specifically for concrete surfaces?
I just use regular labels! They stick pretty well
Are there any specific candle warning labels that you recommend? Both in design and the ability to hold its adhesion to concrete?
I just use plain 2 inch circle labels from online labels. I have no issues with them sticking.
Beautiful basket!!! Which pigment color is that white candle vessel in the middle please? thank you so much
Thank you! That one is just plain cement-all
I appreciate your videos. I found you the other day and told my husband a year later lol that we should do the candle business together. So we are gathering all things we basically need. Fun fact: found out Cal Candle Supply is literally down the street from us. Unfortunately, they were out of the coconut 83 and we bout a slab of the coco bright. Have you worked with this was and do you have any tips working on it? Thanks for the videos.
You’re lucky you are so close to them! Bummer they were out of coco83. It seems hard to get lately. I haven’t tried coco bright yet, but have only heard good things about it! Good luck!
@@calafiacandleco thank you. I believe they restock in mid November so that’s good.
@@madameDupoux You can try the getting it from other candles supply places
Love your videos!!! Do you purchase your safety labels or do you print them at home too? Just wondering. Thanks!!!
I print them at home, too. I try to do as much myself as possible!
Hi there!! Love your tips and tricks! I was wondering, for your concrete vessels, have you ever used Concrete All Rapid Set instead of Cement All Rapid Set? What were the results like? Thanks!
*Concrete Mix
Thank you! I personally have not tried that one. I've only ever used Cement All. Wish I could be of more help!
@@calafiacandleco No worries! Thank you for your quick response!!:)
Hello again! I have 2 more questions sorry😅 with my molds, I’m having a hard time figuring out the matte finish..my vessels come out smooth and shiny (like PVC pipe) every time…also I live in an apartment so clean up is hard especially when I’m try to dispose of my leftover cement slurry:( do you have any recommendations? Thank you!
No need to apologize! I have noticed that shine can come from the mold itself. Certain molds (especially ones made for resin) can just leave that shiny finish. I was getting that from the Amazon molds for a while. I stopped washing them between each use and found that the dirtier they were, the more matte my vessels came out. I used to live in an apartment so I totally understand about the cleaning. I would wipe out as much leftover residue as I could with paper towels into my trash can. Luckily, I did have a little backyard with a hose, so I was able to rinse out the rest of the residue with that and completely clean everything out. You could wait for it to dry and harden in your bowl or cup and then crack it out into the trash. Hope that helps!
If I have any extra cement slurry I'll pour it on an old Tupperware lid that way I can dispose of it in the trash and whatever is left in my bowl, I will let it dry then just crack it out in the trash!
how did you make your logo cuase i am looking to make a logo for my candle business
Hello, I just designed it myself on Canva.
@@calafiacandleco what don’t did you use
What printer do you use for printing your labels and what is that brown paper called that you used to print your labels?
Hi I have the canon image class MF642Cdw laser printer. And those are Kraft paper labels
Can you print on any printer or does it have to be a laser printer?
You can use any printer! Online labels has labels for laser and inkjet printers.
What printer and paper do you use? thank you :)
Hi! I use the Kraft paper labels from onlinelabels.com. My printer is the canon image class MF642Cdw laser printer and I love it!
