Alan Rickman: It was getting late at Hogsmeade Sheds. Hogwarts Castle was hanging out with Angus, who was the 812 Coass goods engine on Hogwarts Railways, and Hamish, the Hogsmeade 439 class shunter. They were joined by the ex-NER E1 shunter from King's Cross, Melvin. Angus had just gotten through telling a scary story, but Hamish wasn't scared, but annoyed. Hamish: Dinnae think ya can scare me wi' tha' ooga booga rubbish! (Alan Rickman: Said Hamish.) Ye've told that story a' least a hundred times, cuz! Angus: Well, ah suppose ye've got somethin' better, laddie? (Alan Rickman: Angus retorted.) Hamish: Ah migh'. (Alan Rickman: Hamish said.) But ah think ih's high time Castle got in on the fun, dinnae ya think so, H.C.? Hogwarts Castle: I most certainly would! (Alan Rickman: Said Castle.) And the scariest part is, it's all true! Melvin: It... Was...? (Alan Rickman: Asked Melvin nervously.) Hogwarts Castle: Yes. (Alan Rickman: Replied Castle.) Alan Rickman: And this was the story he told the three of them. Hogwarts Castle: As you know, I originally belonged to a muggle railway. But not just any muggle railway, but the Great Western Railway. I am a Hall Class, and was once called Olton Hall. The story of how I came to be on Hogwarts Railways is quite fascinating, but long story short, they faked my death so that muggles wouldn't wonder where I'd gone. And instead of naming me Hogwarts Hall, they named me Hogwarts Castle. This is because they had originally planned to nab a Castle Class but somehow ended up with a Hall Class. But I wasn't always the one pulling the Hogwarts Express. It was once pulled by another engine. This one was also an ex-GWR, but was a City Class. He carried the number 3720 and was once called City of Southampton, but was renamed City of Hogsmeade once HRW acquired him. However, one Summer night, during a non-studenr related express run, part of the viaduct was out. City of Hogsmeade applied his brakes, but it was too late. The train plunged into the grasslands below. No one survived, not the passengers, not the crew, not even City of Hogsmeade himself. That was the point when they had to aquire new coaches and a new engine, that being me. However, it didn't end there. But wizardfolk will tell you that at night, when no trains are supposed to be running, they can make out a fast-moving City Class engine pulling coaches and trying to make it to the end of the viaduct... but he dissappear before he can make it. And while the engine is there, you can hear a ghostly otherworldly whistle. Hogwarts Castle: And that's that. (Alan Rickman: Said Castle.) Alan Rickman: The three engines were absolutely amazed! Angus: That was amazin', H.C.! (Alan Rickman: Said Angus.) Hamish: Aye! (Alan Rickman: Said Hamish.) Much better than Angus' sorry excuse of a story! Angus: Aw, shut it, cuz! Hogwarts Castle: Well I'm glad you all liked it! (Alan Rickman: Said Castle.) Alan Rickman: And he turned to look at Melvin, who looked worried. Hogwarts Castle: You good, Mel'? (Alan Rickman: Asked a concerned Castle.) Melvin: I'm fine (Alan Rickman: The E1 replied sheepishly.) Hogwarts Castle: I... I see. Anyway it's getting late. We've got a big day ahead of us, tomorrow! Goodnight, chaps! Angus and Hamish: Goodnight, lads! (Alan Rickman: Said the Scottish engines.) Melvin: Good night... (Alan Rickman: Said Melvin nervously.) Alan Rickman: Eventually, all the engines had gone to sleep except for Melvin. He kept thinking about Hogwarts Castle's story. Then in the distance he heard a haunting whistle and an engine puffing. The puffing and whistling lingered for a bit, then vanishes suddenly. Melvin knew exactly the source of it all and shuddered. Eventually, he went to sleep. But his sleep would be far from pleasant.
