- Hi and Welcome! I've got something special for you-a throwback vintage inspired Christmas tablescape. Picture this: a holiday table setting decked out with inherited treasures or items from an estate sale. My goal? To spark your creativity and encourage you to embrace those inherited pieces in your own festive arrangements. I hope it inspires you to use your vintage pieces on a Christmas table.
Cheers! ~ Nicole

What's your favorite inherited item? Is it something you could use in a tablescape?
An old white ironstone serving bowl that belonged to my Grammy. It was always on her holiday table with mashed potatoes or winter squash or some other yummy thing in it ❤
I LOVE old ironstone dishes! And I love how you associated with something yummy. 😀
So festive i love vintage tablescapes
Thank you!
Some of my favorite things I now own are my Mom's McCoy plates and serving bowls and a vintage speckled Texas ware melamine bowl from my grandmother's farmhouse. 😊
I can totally picture a vintage speckled melamine bowl ~ and the McCoy plates ~ very special items! Owning pieces that were used and loved by our parents/grandparents creates a wonderful connection to them. You're fortunate to have them. 🙂
My favorite inherited item is a set of my mom’s glasses from the 60’s.. a wedding present! I have used them in a tablescape recently 😊
They sound like beautiful glasses. It's wonderful to use something that had a special meaning for you mom and that you now use. Thanks for sharing!!
I love the little placeholders!! Such a cute table 😊
Thank you!! 😊
Let me be the first to apologize, as soon as you laid down that first amazing placemat I was yelling at the screen " NO !!!!! You can't cover those stunning mats with a stack of plates" But you didn't disappoint, because you Recognize them as the star of the show and styled the table Perfectly. I bet your grandmother is smiling down on this one, how wonderful you were gifted some of her beautiful Treasures. Great tablescaping once again. Your post have become my Tuesday highlight. 😊
Thank you ~ so much! You totally made my day. I love that you appreciated and recongnized why I set the table the way I did. My Nana loved her tableware ~ I know that she would enjoy seeing it used and appreciated by others. 😀
I do love the placemats! Merry Christmas!
Awww ~ thank you! And Merry Christmas to you, too. 🎄
