We're not particularly blessed with great striking options in this particular U21 cycle so far , so that's basically why , but I'd rather he not be there in an ideal world especially given his poor game time so far this season.

Yes he's in the U21s , but a goal scoring attacking mid isn't a striker tho is it. Madueke is undoubtedly a real talent nonetheless though of course.
The issue is that striking options wise we only really have atm John-Jules , Brewster and Balogun , none of which are particularly brilliant atm. It'll be nice to see Delap when he eventually gets integrated into into the U21 setup.
