The other issue in Texas particularly is the power they give to apartment owners. This is becoming very evident a lot of times they are renting to people who don't stay in the apartment they came in to rent. People begin to come and go from the apartment and then you start getting letters and emails about crime, yet they stay in the office on their butts and do nothing.. they can check their properties they can do a better job to deter this, but they only care about the rent showing up by the 3rd. I personally believe they know these residents because it's happening too frequently !
