  • Family Guy Stewies Therapist Mysteriously Dies
    While at the therapist stewie talks about his British accent but the therapist doesn't hear stewies British accent, stewies therapy goes back and forth, the therapist voiced by Ian Mckellen tells stewie of his childhood and tells stewie that he is pretending something hes himself and later admits that everything about him is made up including his voice and stewies fake British accent. during the therapy Cecil Pritchfield experiences a heart attack and stewie decides to let him die as he knows stewies secret but he still pleads for his life eventually he dies.

    This is proof that Peter, Lois, and Meg can understand Stewie but choose to ignore him cause they know that he is evil and is capable of doing terrible things so for their own safety they ignore what he says but lets him go off and do what he wants. He is able to interact with literally everyone else so clearly he is understood by everyone.

      The therapist isn't real, though. It's implied that he's a manifestation of what remains of Stewie's conscience and his introspection at himself, and the therapist dying represented how Stewie threw away his insecurities about how kids see him and decides to live for himself.

      You forgot killing the family after getting the wrong house when him and Brian tried to stand in for Santa, and setting up Connie D'Amico making it look like she sexually assaulted him, a baby (he was posing as a high school student and she believed he was one and therefore of similar age to her), after she humiliated him.

    What's making this scene morr disturbing than the actual murders of Stewie is that those extreme things are so absurd that we know it's a joke. But this isn't an over-the-top show of violence. It's just Stewie deliberately denying to offer help to a dying man. This one's realistic and the fact that Stewie did this is making me feel horrible.

    This was a very deep episode, it was a mix of funny and with real emotions and a very relatable image from Stewie ( not the killing part of course) I think this might be one of the most complex episodes that I ever saw Family Guy doing, very interesting.

      It’s even worse than Olivia’s death in the burning cardboard house. But she deserved it. Dr. Cecil Pritchfield was actually trying to help Stewie. That’s what makes his death emotional. I cried during that scene. Sir Ian McKellen seems like such a sweet old man.

    I honestly feel like the therapist was just playing on Stewie's insecurities with the accent debacle. First he says he can't hear him speaking in a british accent, and THEN he says he can't hear the change, if he'd at least recognized Stewie's insecurities and the willingness to change his accent, maybe he'd be alive.

    I am still wondering if this was real or not because at the end of episode Stewie woke up from a nightmare and needed Brian for comfort, which can mean two things, first the whole episode was a nightmare and Stewie still didn’t process that felt very upset about that dream or he is having nightmares of what he did to therapist and felt really guilty.
