As a foreigner let me tell you something about Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee was living at the wrong time and at the wrong place as well. Reading stupid comment from some unknown ppl that have zero clue what grand master Bruce was it's one of the biggest betrayal ever.

You have to remember, Bruce grew up in Hong Kong, not America. He was raised as if he was fully Chinese, rather than half American/Western, for the first few formative years of his life.

Personally, as a kid, I remember having a huge crush on Bruce Lee's character "Kato" from (The Green Hornet) which first premiered in 1966. 💙

Probably a great family. It helps that their background was in a different culture. I particularly liked his brother's mention to the "WEIRD" of Bruce's friends in america. We all assume we know what he means. Its amazing that they, because they have their roots in another culture, they also know show biz from an early days since the father was one of the best singers and Bruce himself acted on screen since a kid. But they didn't do this in AMERICA therefore, their concepts are more down to earth and less crazy hollywood. One as to praise those who, being in that place, are still able to have a real, meaningful and down to earth life. Many succumb to idolization and stardom.

I remember staying up to watch this, almost like it was yesterday. (This was back before Geraldo Rivera lost his mind, heart, and soul.) It was a masterstroke for the network and program to get this interview, so early on, when the truth generally tends to come out. Such a great piece, despite Rivera.

I believe to Robert, he is always present around me since I was a young kid as if he still alive, my room was full of his posters even the ceiling of my room and 4 walls, back in the 80's my bedroom was full of Bruce lee posters and American jet fighters

Bruce lee's mom looks like him my favourite marshall art. I kept a scrap book on him my school friend who has since passed on also kept a scrap book on nadia comanci at the same time in the 70's.I cannot believe him and his son are both deceased. I loved watching his movies as a teenager in tbe 70's.His daughter such a lovely personality as well as his wife.

I don't know, I can't explain to myself how I can love a man who lived on this earth and I didn't know him! You realize what a sacred spirit, what a special personality Bruce Lee was!
I agree with you 💯! I watched his movie “Big Boss” in 1973 @ the age of 12 & fell in love with Bruce Lee’s personality & God given gift (Martial Arts) I’m now 62 & still love him even though I never met him. Bruce Lee’s Legacy is immortal ❤. Thanks for sharing your story.

1) A CREATOR god claimed to be ALMIGHTY should be the oldest and only religion but all the pagans, Greek, Chinese, Hinduism religions existed earlier.
2) Many of the Bible's mythologies was very similar with older pagans, Greek, Egyptian or Hinduism religions(note the names too) E.g. Adam/Eve with Atman/Jiva, big flood and survivor Noah/3 sons with Manu/3 daughters although cause of flood is different. Abraham/Sarah with Brahma/Saraswathi, Moses with Krishnu etc
3) Jesus similarities with Buddha. Interestingly, in a documentary I think made in the nineties, an American asked people in North Korea, including College students, if they knew who Michael Jackson was, and not a single one of them knew who he was. About twelve years ago, in 2010, The BBC took five Amish youngsters to visit Britain, and asked them if they knew who John F. Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln were, and they, even being Americans and about 18 years old, had no idea who the two men were

His legend will never die. He will always be in our hearts. His house in Hong Kong was demolished. Too bad that Hong Kong authorities didnt take good use of it and turn it into a museum. I felt bad. Anyway, his brother and mum are hamble as he was despite his success.

Pretty much every male teenager growing up in the eighties had a Bruce Lee poster in his room, home gym, or garage gym.
Oh yeah..when I saw Bruce for the first time in 1980 on the screen ( Enter The Dragon ) ..at ten years old..I thought a real Spiderman existed when watching him dissect O' Harra piece by piece.
Seeing Mrs. Lee with her glasses makes me think of Bruce pretending to be a technician and fixing the phone in Fists of fury.

welcome to self made is a toxic myth. bruce lee was a hard scrap street fighter to became trainer to the stars and then a super star action hero. At least thats what people believe. In reality he was born rich. His dad was a famous opera star and land owner who sent his son to a private school la salle and then to the usa when he turned 18. After opening martial schools he began training movie stars and befriended oscar winning writer sterling silliphant who got him in the room with producers. this is not to say he didnt work hard, his success was a communal effort greatly helped by having rich, connected parents and unwavering support from established entertainers. his little brother robert became a teen idol in hong kong and elder brother a doctor. did he work hard? yes but he had a lot of help! so dont beat yourself up for not being as far along as someone who had time, wealth and connections on their side!

Bruce was only dangerous if challenged , I would have been his friend . I was 4'6" until I was 14 . I was constantly victomized at school . When I was 15 I grew a foot and then 2 more inches and championed the picked on . I applaud Bruce and his personality .

Bruce Lee’s mom came from one other the most powerful families in Hong Kong, her husband was also a highly successful artist in China. They had power and money. Also English was widely spoken in Hong Kong at the time by the upper class and in business settings. Generally speaking, most powerful or rich families will always have a strong command of English and a few other languages as they have the means to afford the best education, it should come as no surprise…

I know people have their own opinions about who the best martial arts person in the world. In my opinion Bruce Lee is the best martial arts fighter and a whole history of the world. Bruce Lee was 5'8259 and weighed 145 lb maybe a little less and he was explosive.
