Absolutely brilliant isn't it? I remember when this aired, I'd always liked Acaster's style, and this little gem endeared him to me a whole lot more. And then of course, he had to top it with "Part man, part machine ..." etc 😂😂
Why so many offensive ads and BS propaganda from CZcams? Has the google somehow misplaced all that personal information they collected about me? No, I think the EVIL google is deliberately trying to offend me with those ads.
Brexit is the best thing Britain has done in decades, was a poor idea by an otherwise brilliant leader in Margret Thatcher. The E.U is nothing but a putrid rancid cesspool of vermin.
I second that. Ovid introduced me to this show, and my daughter used to watch it with me when she was in high school. We'd hang out and play some kind of game while watching this, and just have a good time talking. I have a lot of happy memories tied up with this show, and I appreciate Ovid showing us something we both liked and laughed with.

I loved watching this from the US. Just fantastic comedy that I'll miss. Great to see Princess Monaco of Kent, Private Browsing, and the Bleached Minions all made it. Also, living in the Dip!
Definitely a greatest hits of later years. Private Browsing, The Dip, Selfie Monkey, The Minions,... what a wonderful compilation for this occasion. Teared up laughing!
Born in Stoke-on Trent, raised in Yorkshire. Now I live in Canada. When I hear Maisie speak it brings back memories. Also she has killer legs. Thank you for posting this.
19:30 .The two Eds and their faux-altercation over Dara and Brian Cox. oh god, I remember hurting from laughing so much when I first saw that. So glad it was in this cut. Brilliant off-the-cuff comedy. Gamble's expression when Byrne throws the notepad at him, and later when Gamble picks it up - sheer brilliance 🤣🤣
My favourite moments: Princess Monaco of Kent - starts at 8:05, continues intermittently James Acaster's Brexit Metaphor - 10:30 Ed's Cooking while pissed - 12:04, 13: 50, Kerry's Sun Hill police station - 13:04 Glenn does Nigella - 13:20 Dara-Brian Cox-Ed Byrne love triangle - 19:30 Glenn’s Unsexy sound technicians - 21:50
“It looks like someone’s bleached the Minions” Man, it came in late, but I’m so glad we got another classic bit before the show wrapped. It might be my favourite running joke on the show
If only Andrew Schultz sees that his comedy special comes up so often when people search on here for Mock the Week episodes. Man! This show put such a smile on my face over the years. Hope it genuinely goes independent and gets another life beyond the BBC.
Edit: Gary DeLaney's smear test joke (9:56) is amazing with this show's format, but I doubt it would go over too well on Strictly (but the attempt would be memorable). We need MtW for that type of humor.
All the classics were included I love it, but I can't believe they didn't include Ed Byrne's joke for the last round. I forgot the category but the punch line was "If anyone can, Genghis Khan"
Aaaah! The bleached minions! Massive thanks for including that as I requested last week (to whoever edited this). And to Ovid for making it available week on week for all us non-UK residents.
When I worked as a Stagecoach bus driver at Preston and bought my breakfasts at the canteen, I used to sing my order to Sarah, the woman serving "two bacon, two egg, two sausage, tomatoes and mushrooms" to the tune of 'One finger, one thumb' and so on.
it's the beginning of the 2022 Holiday Season and Ovid is notched in on the ''Good List'' so be on the look out for all the good wishes, it's going to be a busy Gifting Season .
James' Acaster's Brexit tea bag joke should be used in medicine research to prevent aging, it hasn't aged a day in the 6 years since it was made.
Absolutely brilliant isn't it? I remember when this aired, I'd always liked Acaster's style, and this little gem endeared him to me a whole lot more.
And then of course, he had to top it with "Part man, part machine ..." etc 😂😂
He's also psychic, because he was eerily accurate when he told us exactly where Britain was heading at 10:38.
@Brad W that weren't no joke. That was actual inspired, informed and insightful political commentary, oh how I wish he was telling a "joke".

"Looks like someone bleached the minions" is a classic. 😂😂
Best moment ever for me!
Thank you Ovid for providing us non-Brits with this show. 🥰

It goes to show that a British show about British news can still be enjoyed by just about anyone.

didn't know that many folk from the UK actually liked this. Pretty cool that more people enjoyed british humour
@@Jaydenbb5 It's very popular. There were people more upset about this show ending than the Queen's death. 🤣
The Harp bit will always be hilarious because of how we got there. "Well, that's the NATO summit covered" was the perfect button on that piece.
Your show and panelists will be missed, Dara. The funniest show for years.
I loved watching this from the US. Just fantastic comedy that I'll miss.
Great to see Princess Monaco of Kent, Private Browsing, and the Bleached Minions all made it. Also, living in the Dip!
Don't ya mean T' Dipp?
The Dip is a village called Pannal, near Harrogate, in North Yorkshire. I was in the year above Maisie at high school (St Aidan's)!
@@applejuice5272 oh cool!
Ahhh Private Browsing my #1 Mock the Week moment. 😂
@@applejuice5272 so did you know 10 to 2 as well?
Milton Jones 'You can't Beatrice!' joke is an absolute classic. Mock the Week ma have come to an end, but Milton is eternal.
Princess Monaco of Kent will forever be legendary😂😂
Speaking of royalty, did you hear Henry VIII’s back?
@@LPKelly380 ----No, but I've heard his front!
I'll throw myself out, thank you very much lolol

Princess Monaco of Kent XD
and Cooking When Pissed! (still disappointed that one didn't get one last hurrah on Ed's final show)
@@Fyreflier Or that this episode didn't show the last one he actually did.
Milton's "You can't beat rice." will always be a classic too.

Brilliant off-the-cuff comedy. Gamble's expression when Byrne throws the notepad at him, and later when Gamble picks it up - sheer brilliance 🤣🤣
I was so happy that they included the last bit when Gamble read Byrne's notes. One of my very favourite bits in the entire history of the show.
You could say it was a “fauxltercation”! 😉
I can't believe I'm cry laughing all over again about the 'bleached the minions' gag. It is comedy gold....
Hugh's delivery on "It could be two things..." 😂😂 priceless!
@@Synthnerd11 Yes! Pure gold!
Possible the number 1 moment in a show full of amazing moments.
I don't think we will ever see Ed Byrne quite as happy as we see him reacting to Dara's faultless Colonel Abrams impression.
"Anyone can make this. You can't Beatrice. Sorry, you can't Beat Rice"... Does not get much better.
I forgot about the marmalade joke at 12:48, holy crap Ellie is funny. Very much caught me off guard. Her delivery is really good.
7:32 gets me every time with "and Colonel Abrams" 😁🤣😂
This whole anecdote gets me every time. I’m gonna miss these knuckleheads
So sad this show ended. It gave so many comedians such a large platform.
I know. . . how am i meant to know who to see at Edinburgh Festival!!
Just like Dara's head! 😂
My favourite moments:
Princess Monaco of Kent - starts at 8:05, continues intermittently
James Acaster's Brexit Metaphor - 10:30
Ed's Cooking while pissed - 12:04, 13: 50,
Kerry's Sun Hill police station - 13:04
Glenn does Nigella - 13:20
Dara-Brian Cox-Ed Byrne love triangle - 19:30
Glenn’s Unsexy sound technicians - 21:50
Ed should bring out a book of recipes for cooking when pissed
or start a youtube channel
Robo-bongo-cuckoo-cop. Too good
Came here for Princess Monaco of Kent, not disappointed.
Floods of tears at the end. This show was really special, what a fabulous legacy :)

My favourites are bits like Miles' joke at 14:30 where it's just a drive-by on Dara
I feel like miles got a lot of those in over the years 🤣
14:58 Ed Gamble's reaction is _priceless_
even at his most chaotic that never even crossed his mind as an option
and Rosie Jones is the best possible person to have had that joke. the slightly drawn out quality to her speech makes it land all the harder

@@simonprice8638 well it's bleeped out so it'd be pretty hard to get anyway
Things you wouldn't hear on Mock the Week
@@kevinw712 yup, a real home run of a joke
It’s criminal that the lighthouse keeper set didn’t make it into these.

I'm not entirely sure Dara does either lol.
The bants between Ed Byrne and Dara were always priceless!
Thanks for uploading this so promptly. I loved every minute of it. The ending was brilliant!
The sound guys joke was an underrated moment, glad to see it in here; gets me every time
Robo bongo cuckoo cop, is one the funniest things i've ever heard. Thank you James.
Great finish to a great series. RIP Mock the Week
Oh-so glad they included Private Browsing, one of the best ever moments. Really gonna miss this show.
Of course Princess Monaco of Kent made it in !
Let's be honest - Cooking While Pissed deserves it's own show.

Id like to send out a big shoutouts to all Mock the Week fans, what an incredible journey this has been. Love from Sweden!

No, David, I said "pluck a fig."
That was nice…
…but I can’t believe that in the whole show we got to hear Milton Jones *once*.

Thanks for all the uploads of Mock the Week, Ovid. From Alaska
I forgot about The Harp! Amazing.
The main joke I missed from these clip shows is Step Ladder.
I'm in tears 🤣🤣🤣
For the Andy Murray "scenes", they left out Ed's Serena and Venus joke. It was a cracker.
@Ovid Dude, cheers for the continued uploads of Mock the Week's final episodes - from across the pond. 🍻👍
how has this gone? tragic.
