Holy shit, amazing showing by LLL. I had dismissed them before this, but now I'll be waiting on their games too. I hope they dont get discouraged from this cause they have serious potential.
Knowing my region, we will get emotional/anxious and throw the games. But hope is the last one to die.

Brazil has had so much potential over the past couple years. Even though LLL never really gets too far in international events, they've always had above average showings.

@@martinlatour9311 You seem a bit slow so here is the explanation: Amazing in the sense, that they played entertaining games. They showed up with close fights, it wasn't a snooze fest. That's kind of the most we can ask from a minor region against a powerhouse team like TES. Hope this helped.

This series reminds me of the Golden Guardians vs. BLG series from MSI last year. Super big underdog brings a banger of a series and exposes some of the weaknesses of the stronger team by playing with zero fear and just full sending it.

after watching that GAM game, this is refreshing. They fought great. It was a fun game. It's always the Macro where top teams/regions do better.
I think a lot of the bad team fights were caused by better macro giving TES better positioning to start the fights
It was also teamf fighting of some LLL members, as Caedrel mentioned their supp and jungle kinda ran it. But they looked better than I thought. Its a pity, LLL had winning drafts, especially second game

Unfortunately I disagree, you can see they are testing stuff and having fun against them. Even tho wild card region's teams are getting a lot of kills and punishing some mistakes from top teams, the gold/objectives gap is insane. But at least it seems they are having fun too 👍🏻

@@gabrielferreira8393 I can assure you that they didn't give LOUD much thought at all.. they probably afforded them the modicum of respect they do all professional teams: ban out their champs, lock a comp that makes sense, play the macro well, win game...but if you think they watched any vods or played it 'tight'?..once TES got a gold lead they just walked through the map waiting to get engaged on so they can fight cause they knew they were ahead and just better - they would never invite those fights up 5k vs BLG/T1/Gen
The varus player of the second game was the mvp out of all 10 players for me, guess i'll be rooting for route next games

LLL, like EST yesterday seemed to have the mechanics down to a T, but their overall macro is just not there. A good team from a high-tier region like LCK and LPL would easily play through good mechanics. Though tbh, if these regions make their macro much more solid, mechanically, they have what it takes, i feel like.
T1 on est, i feel that T1 just trying lane swap things,
I felt like it was more of T1's fault for overforcing things when they could just play safe
LLL vs TES felt more like LLL forcing TES to respond to plays and LLL coming on top a few times, but in both cases the minor region lost mainly because of macro

If games were 20 minutes long CBLOL would be a major region lmao, the macro is inexistent but the mechanics are there.
12:29 As bad as JDG must've been for 369's mental health, his time there turned him into such a solid player. Reliable and consistent, which makes him a constant threat in every match he's in.

Creme was genuinely the best player this series.
If you are a real one you watch through all of the anti-spoiler plant.
Wukong was the problem. The reason you pick Wukong is the same as Viego's: you want engage/duels, especially if you can threaten the ADC. Thing is, wukong doesn't offer CC until level 6, and his CC has a giant cooldown, at least compared to Viego's W.
Renekton was excelent on Tahm Kench, as he deletes any shields, but Wukong is a budget Viego - which also builds Kraken Slayer, so it's better vs tanks.
I'm gonna be honest, Varus was a good pick, but it needed to be on-hit. Azir, on the other hand, hits like a truck even vs. tanks. Against this huge amount of tanks, a BOTRK would've gone a long way. Add the useless Wukong to the mix, when Viego was making every trade impossible for Croc, and you have a line-up that, even if they had early advantage, would've never won.
IMO this was a draft over gameplay issue. With something more menacing like a Vi, to isolate senna or azir, or at least a tank/engage like Amumu + on-hit varus would've definitely netted them a better game, maybe, just very maybe, a win.
