This video demonstrates the basic technique for removing healing abutments, placing and torquing LOCATOR R-Tx Abutments, preparing the denture after reline for housing pick-up, and attachment processing with CHAIRSIDE® Attachment Processing Material. Additionally, clinical techniques are described to successfully pick-up LOCATOR R-Tx Denture Attachment Housings into a denture to convert it to an overdenture.

why is it sometimes the housing stay attached to the locator when I am taking a pick up impression
of the copings in order to place analogs and pour a final stone impression.

Is there a way to get a processed denture back from the lab without grinding out the housings, and some positional relief already in the denture ?

I have had horrible jaw pain since my teeth were removed for dental implants. It has been 6 months already. I mentioned it to the dentist, and they wanted to refer me to see a TMJ specialist. Is this normal? Also, my jaws feel like if i chew something for too long, they can disconnect. Has anyone had this happen after teeth removal?
I did this and the denture got stuck in.
Any thoughts on why?

Now I get all that was going on when I got them done last week I thought I was gonna be in and out of there in like 30 minutes I was there like a couple hours but all this looks familiar now I guess they were having trouble with mine could one implant was at an angle

Hi Dr Any thoughts would be greatly aopreciated. My heartfelt gratitud. I am so frustrated and doubtful of my dentist.
They(3 of them working in my case rotation) placed a bone graft on my upper left but did not place bonr graft on the right. Nov.2018 placed 6 implants. March 2019 placed abutment which is moderately painful. After 3 days one abutment lost. The other dentist replaced all 6 coz she thinks it is all small. 10 days later 2 abutments fell off. It was friday. One hole has pus. Monday the dentist just punched the closed gum tissue with the abutment. I was surprised she didn't open the gums to clean it. I am already concerned about the bone since they did not place bone graft and now abutment fell off I saw pus then gums closed and the dentist just punched back the screw. I am so frustrated as they kept on saying its okay when I think its not because I am in pulsating pain
You seriously need an antibiotic!!! Rinse with warm salt water or baking soda &warm water!!! I would definitely go to another dentist!!! Just saying!!!

I’m have a breakdown the dentist cut my gums to expose the implant she leaned on my front teeth I don’t know why I was numbed but I could feel pressure and felt like I was in a car crash spent four days in bed with the terrible pain in my front teeth was she trying to move the teeth . I’m afraid to call her as I hate complaining
All of course in the stages is correct, except, that the doctor don't checked the occlusion, even before using the light. Light-curing acrylic is not chemically connected with regular base acrylic.

Why are your implants all placed at the anterior area.Won't the denture be more stable with them placed at the laterals and first bis.second bis.even better.I know it can be done.

The implants are all placed at the anterior area .WHY? To much cantilever action that way.Two at cusp.area and two at 2nd bi area is far better and can be done.At over $2,000 an implant why not do the best you can?

I am a Russian dentist, I want to advise my colleagues. Here, in this picture, the doctor makes a big mistake, and because the doctor from the video does not understand and does not know Biophysics, he does not know the theory - the distribution of forces throughout the body, also determining the center of gravity and strength. This prosthesis over time can cause serious problems in the bone itself at the level of Protuberanta mentalis
All the implants are placed at the anterior region.Not a fan .Two should be at laterals two at first or second bicuspids.Less cantilever action .Less stress on implants and surrounding bone.

Do you sanitize those tips on that tool after getting ppls saliva on them!!!!
What frustrates the heck out of me is that after putting the impression material in they just use cotton rolls to seat it, they dont bother to check the occlusion or have the patient bite down to fully seat the lower denture. My OCD cant handle that.
