Cadbury egg getting smaller is called Shrinkflation. Food/drink product gets smaller and don't change the price. This happened a year ago with the regular bags of chips with frito-lay.

This happened with the larger bags of M&Ms. They had used those bags that lay flat. Shitflation, on the other hand, is when a product's quality gets shittier, but the price stays the same. Sometimes (often) shitflation and shrinkflation happen at the same time, or in quick succession, and are followed by actual inflation, without any increase in either quantity or quality. They do this with a lot of products. A cookie I've always liked, Nilla Wafers, are markedly smaller than they were when I was a kid. I even checked with my parents to double check it wasn't just me misremembering the size since you're smaller with smaller hands as a kid. Nope, they are definitely smaller now, lol. They also changed Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies to be smaller and thinner now, so I get Keebler instead to get more like the old chocolate chip cookies I liked and remembered.
