I don't recall some of these places changing their name? I always thought that Melbourne was on Port Phillip Bay. I've not heard of a bay called, "Melbourne Bay". As far as I know, there is no bridge in Sydney named, "Bay Bridge". Pronunciations in this video are quite bizarre. The pink Lake Hillier is on the southern coast of West Australia, not Melbourne.
It is the salt lake in Port Melbourne. (It sometimes turns pink)
You can see it when you are driving on the Westgate Bridge.

Been there twice, once when I emigrated in the 1960s and worked there for two years. The Opera House was being built while I was there. Then on holiday 16 years ago. Absolutely loved it.

As an Aussie, this was not taken seriously as soon as the Sydney Harbour Bridge was called the Bay Bridge. Also, it's Port Philip Bay, not Melbourne Bay. Pronunciation is fine, we are just lazy with how we say things. Needs fact checking to be taken seriously 🤣🤣

At least you can say the proper name of the locations so that when people visit they know exactly what they are looking for! It's not the "Bay Bridge" it's the Harbour Bridge. The pronunciations are so funny 🙂 but job well done showing our island's beauty. Visiting Australia, you won't be disappointed... Enjoy!

Have been to Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney travelling by bus, train and plane. Ya, me, husband, friend and her husband and my son. We enjoyed the sceneries and animals. 🐏🦘🦈

The video is good but it didn't cover particular places that at least deserve a spot. For one it didn't include Canberra....you've got the national zoo of Canberra, you've got the Australian war memorial, you've got lake burly Griffith as well as the Australian Alps. It's the capital of Australia, and where's the gold coast?? You have surfer's paradise which cavill Avenue is a very popular spot....they always have shows on at Tweed Heads, you also have Coolangatta which is littered with restaurants, surf shops and the beach is on the door step. You have tellibudgera creak and palm Beach, you have currumbin wildlife sanctuary where you can do the lorreekeet feeding and point danger where in the winter season you can watch migrating humpbacks playing off the lookout. North of Brisbane you have Fraser Island which is heritage listed, the great barrier reef is right there and you can go swimming in picturesque lake Mackenzie. In WA is ningaloo reef where you can swim with magnificent whale sharks and the Bremer Bay canyon where you can see the biggest population of wild orcas in Australia. What about the Kimberly region and the outback towns of Winton and Longreach. In Longreach you can visit the stock man's hall of fame and the QANTAS museum where you can walk through a 747 and Winton which is the dinosaur capital of Australia, you can visit the actual dinosaur stampede site of lark quarry and the age of dinosaurs museum. There are so many places here that Australia has to offer.....and I'm sorry but some place names in this video were pronounced incorrectly and I'm an Aussie so I can pick. Brisbane is pronounced bris-bin and Melbourne isn't pronounced mel-born....its mel-burn. It's the Sydney harbour Bridge, not the bay bridge and its Flinders Street and not Flyders street.

I’m a filipino, Me and my family visited Sydney twice, melbourne and Goldcoast. I love Australia like i love New Zealand.
New Zealand is actually a really bad country, I visited for 2 weeks and every day I was abused by the general public, the people are extremely rude and hostile. And the infrastructure is extremely bad in New Zealand too.

I had been to Adelaide. The city is nothing special. It’s too small. But South Australia is an interesting place. I visited Barossa valley, Victor Harbour and many towns out of Adelaide. On entering Adelaide via Victoria you have to go through steep hill and your foot has to be on the brake all the time. Because the police will be waiting for you for speeding. Rightly so as the hill is very steep and the car barrel downhill at speed and it’s dangerous. Hahndorf is a quaint Old German town. Lovely town. But Adelaide, yeah not my preference.
It's still 1974 in South Australia....when you get colour TV and drinkable water then you might get a look in. Snowtown is a great place to visit though.

Melbourne is pronounced Mel-bn and not Mel-bourne. Flinders Street Station is pronounced Flin-ders Street Station (Fl -in-ders - combine the Fl and in-ders so it's Flin-ders Street Station) and not FlInders Street Station (don't enphasise the I).

Ive been to Sydney but didnt climb the bridge. I was by myself and never got lost once. everyone was so lind cars even stopped to let me cross the street and even asked if I was lost. wish I could live there all the time.
