I played and beat terraria but every single chest in the game gives you completely random items, meaning that when opening a chest in terraria you can get anything from dirt and some grass blocks to epic overpowered items like the terrarian and solar armor, will we beat the game today or is luck not on our side !?

An idea: I play this randomizer with calamity. You might think that's op, but here's the twist: you have to decide on 2 slots before opening the chest and you can only loot those 2 items. After WoF I'm allowed 3 items and after golem 4. After moon lord I do 6. It's actually quite challenging if you're not super lucky 😄

Here’s a tip, instead of killing one eye at a time, get them all on pretty low health, and then kill them all at once. At first it sounds like a dumb ideas since it allow the eyes to damage you more but the extra damage is far less than the amount the true eyes will deal.

lol the most efficient way to kill ML is spamming the top eye so it doesn't melt you with the deathray, the side eyes should be 2nd priority
that’s what I usually do
using the mana flower, a regular yoyo glove instead of a yoyo bag in a full melee build, this is big brain moment
(not to count not using master ninja gear instead of shield of cthulu and steampunk wings instead of fishron wings or even empress wings)
also no frozen shield and since the game is so random didnt he ever find the rod of discord? its nice that he just didnt farm for the zenith and just rushed through everything as if it was a starting with zenith run but bruh why the godmode literally beats the point of the challenge, you could have done moon lord with the wang of sparking and finch staff if you were going to do that

A few things to know:
This isn't even 1.4,even if he was on 1.4 alpha it'd be pretty difficult to find a mod similar to the 1.3 randomiser mod unless someone either ported it to 1.4 or a new mod was made. This also means no 1.4 content is in the playthrough.
Even if the game was random,getting the RoD still takes luck from both chests and grinding. I can very much confirm this from past experience with the mod.
His accessories are most likely from the chests only which explains the mana flower in a melee build.

2 things. first of all he said he was going to do pillars again after the first moonlord attempt to get full solar but he already had full solar, as shown by the solar armor shield coming in throught the first attempt and second that was a normal mode run with post moonlord gear... fun to watch tho

My first game of terraria (kinda, I played on mobile years ago and never get past eye of Cthulhu) and I have now beat all mechanical bosses. Once I beat the game (including all achievements) ik I'm going to do challenges like this. If not for you I may not have gotten as into terraria challenges. Thanks

@@gingeralelover...492 I was able to kill the eye, but after that I was a no go because I sucked at games and didn't think to plan stuff out. It's real simple to the point to were I beat all pre-hard mode bosses first try (except skeletron, I beat him second try with the help of a falling star) without any major plans or arena. Hard mode though proved to be a bit harder

Your accessories were pure pain. If you went for a Glove and a completed Yo-yo Bag instead of that Mana Flower plus a Master Ninja Gear in place of the Shield of Cthulhu your life would be so much easier vs Moon Lord!

A tip
Build an arena with campfires and heart lanterns for Regen
Then get the tavern keeper's armor pieces that let you regenerate health
Moon lord can be outdone by regeneration and good enough weapons
I beat him with a mega shark, shroomite boots, Valhalla knight breastplate, squire's helm
And I believe I used ichor bullets
I seriously dislike what you did at the end, Im a pretty bad terraria player, but even I beat the moonlord pretty easily after changing my strategy, so for next time, here are some tips for you when fighting the moonlord:
1. Get to max health (500)
2. Build an asphalt bridge, this allows you to move really quickly
3. I recommend fishron wings, which can help you dodge the phantasmal deathray
4. I also would recommend you to use the daybreak instead of the terrarium, it has better range and combined with the asphalt bridge, youll be able to do considerable damage to the moon lord while outspeeding him and easily dogding his attacks (be sure not to get too far bc then he'll teleport to you)
5. If youre struggling, consider using potions, many are pretty easy to craft, you can also use the food items that drop from enemies
6. Reforge your weapons, seriously a 10% boost actually does a fuck ton more damage for weapons that have a high base damage
7. Even if your a not summoner, consider using a stardust dragon. Even the smallest one can do some damage on the moon lord
8. Dont kill all three eyes one at a time, try to get all three at low health and then finish all of them off

Bruh I was playing on a new world so I could make terraspark boots but damn woulda look at that 17 chests in a super close proximity and when I say super close it was a open hill heading down to a cave that had all the chests and after that I just quit the world after grabbing everything I needed lmao
I don’t know if I am lucky or anything, or if it is just part of the game, but I was fighting Solar pillar on the ground, and it was not chasing me when I was on the ground, only when I was flying. Maybe try to stand on the ground while fighting the solar pillar. I don’t know if it will work how it did for me, but it’s worth a shot.
