when I did mine I loosened all 4 nuts on studs that hold brake booster to firewall, left hanging on 1 thread.. then depressed pedal for core to clear..
I'm going to be attempting the same "no dash pull" heater core replacement on a 2007 Equinox. My only concern is the little "humps" formed into the end of the heater core tubing connections that help to retain the hose connections (if you use hose and not plumbing connections). Will the hose hold under pressure without those little "humps" formed into the tubing?
Take it since pulling this way the AC was unaffected? I have a leaking, and now plugged core, right at end of winter so lucked out.. and AC condenser was already messed up, summer coming, needing AC first.. Think will pull seats out since need to find an Airbag connector that is giving me a code as well.. But the cutting and hoses are good to go for me.. 2 blown discs, need to make the bending as minimal as possible...Just making sure in case do AC first not wasting any time with doing that over again.. thanks..
You'd think they would have extended the rubber hoses into interior and clamped them where we need to cut, but when engineers design different aspects of a vehicle, this is what we get...
did this way, got brake pedal out of the way by loosening the 4 nuts coming from studs on vacuum booster and then depress brakes and pedal will push far enough to clear core. just watch harness, I knicked mine it dropped onto something sharp and got pushed upon during process and caused a fun repair after...
@@terrimcqueed5992 that must have been for another reply here? I did have issues with bags on my blue 2wd ride, never resolved if for me.. have black awd version now.. and switched to green coolant tired of the clumping from the dex...
how did you get it out without removing brake assembly

Yeah the problem here is that the brake pedal is in the way

That’s what clamps are for
Did you ever get this done how did it go?
@@BBsAuto I did get it done and it worked just fine. A LOT less complicated than pulling the entire dash.
I doubled up on the hose clamps inside the passenger compartment just as an extra precaution.
Thats what I was thinking about doing but I will see how it holds. I used silicone as well it worked as a lubricant and hopefully it seals it better.
Couldn’t see shit with all the shaking so everything you just showed is nothing but a big blur
Indeed like most videos. Had to stop..giving me a headache.
Anyone else see the random engagement 💍 ring on the floor

Have you found the issue with the code for the air bags? I have the same issue.
