I was scrolling through the comments to find someone who admired those lovely legs as much as I did. They're bloody awesome, so long and shapely, beautiful.
I doubt this very much. For one they would have had to take fragmented takes between him throwing the knives and a close up where the knife is strategically placed.
I always thought it had something to do with his terrible wig. Apparently it was a naughtier meaning! I wish they'd have left these scenes in, it would have made the episode much funnier.
A little bit of inside television knowledge for you - the actor wasn't actually throwing the knives at the wheel of death. He was instead letting them fall backwards out of his hand (you can actually see this happen a couple of times during the scene), then what would happen is the knife would be sprung out from BEHIND the wheel leading to the illusion of it being thrown. This of course would be too dangerous. I hope this has been an interesting little insight into the often mysterious world of television.
I doubt even the people who didn't know how the trick was done actually thought David Schneider was genuinely throwing knives at a spinning Steve Coogan. Don't think the insurance would have covered that somehow 😉
This is hilarious, when he sets fire to the tie! There are so many parts in these clips that I've never seen before, the ones that I have taped are shortened edited versions.
Seen this loads of times, but if you look closely the photo copier continues to take copies all the way thru the interview, u can occasionally see the flash from it when in view.
I dont remember the bit after the photo-copier and before Tony La mesmer was introduced....was it cut?..or edited?. Im not complaining..I thought I'd seen all of KMKY(including when it originally was aired on TV), so it's great to see part's Ive never seen before.
@@davidmarchant9386 They put out longer versions, or the complete version, on home release. The TV broadcast ones had to be exactly 28 mins (to allow for trailers between progs) but they filmed more. I think they couldn't avoid not hitting the target during writing and filming, and so found what they could lose in editing to hit that 28.
@@davidmarchant9386 BBC do trailers for their own programmes, along with a continuity announcer, telling you what's coming up later and next. I believe the extended episodes are on home release.
This is my favorite comedy ever. It's genius.
An extremely rare example of Alan displaying some humanity.
It's beautiful. He should become a counsellor to the moribund
Alan Partridge should host an episode of Jeremy Kyle.
Alan kept it together for once and did a sweet outro He should have got a Second Series for that. Or got a couples therapy show, Alan Advice.
He doesn’t have the sensitivity
He is one of the best comedians ever 👌🏻💙
Ooh!....look at Rebecca!!!.....sublime!
The knife-throwing man's lovely assistant. WOW! I mean come on. What a pair of legs. I say again: WOW!!!
Louise Hodges

Random Task Idiot.
@@ozzie1299 I thought they might have pushed the knives out and then filmed it in reverse lol
Rebecca Front looking great here
That explains why you're known as the bike of Beverley Hills.
The scary little monster makes me cry laughing.
“Tanya that explains why you sleep around so much”…..😂😂😂
I've never seen this unedited version! Now I finally know why Alan calls him 'Mr Floppy the actor'.
I always thought it had something to do with his terrible wig. Apparently it was a naughtier meaning! I wish they'd have left these scenes in, it would have made the episode much funnier.
Rebecca Front is so funny, very underrated
'my trousers are wet' at the very end.
Poor Gary's winkie is completely moribund!

This is exposure!! You are revealing the method of a secret magical effect!
Doesn't take much working out, it's obvious.
At 7:09 there's one on the floor.
They do the same on the live episode of Not Going Out.
Wait. There's not actually letting an actor throw knives at Steve Coogan for real?!
I doubt even the people who didn't know how the trick was done actually thought David Schneider was genuinely throwing knives at a spinning Steve Coogan. Don't think the insurance would have covered that somehow 😉
I wish they'd do this for real. Have celebs do their old job in the middle of an interview. Who doesn't want to see Jason Statham unblock a toilet?
Was he a plumber? Don’t get me wrong, he does look like one
@@sturycroft I don't know for certain. He did used to flog dodgy fake jewelry on street stalls. A technique he recreated in Lock, Stock

Wasn't he a professional diver?
@the_milkman 999 Yes he was a member of Britain's national diving team and competed in the 1990 Commonwealth Games.
i love Alan Partridge

The fantastic Miss Front.

Rebecca was a bit too good at that humiliation scene if you ask me 😉
We need that show back pronto.

Tony Lemesma should have his own spin-off
THERES NO NEED BECAUSE MOHAMED (Saws) HAS MOVED THE MOUNTAIN TO YOU ! 🤣🤣🤣
"The bike 🚲 of Beverly Hills" 😅
Where can one get an AP tie and blazer pack?
You should attend one of his roadshows. Search around local travel taverns.
Rebecca front looks like Nigel Tufnel here
Mister Gauche Cringe-worthy doing what he does best of all. Or is it worst of all?! Love it!
Richard Madeley
lol, just noticed,,at the end, after Tony LaMesmer has thrown the knives..you can see wet patches on Alans trousers. 7:14
Hahaha. I had never noticed it. Hilarious!
Patrick Marber is a deadringer gor Tom Hardy with the same Method 'tude. Brilliant🎉
Who remembers Tanya from Turkey....?
Sir Rod should be on showing how one digs a grave
Young Alan sounds really like Richard Madeley. Older Alan is v slightly deeper & has a tiny bit of an accent: but I can't place where from.
It's from all the whisky and cigars. They've gone to the back of his throat
live chat has it happens. !
Give me another series ya shit
