I wish my rheumatologist would spend more than 5 or 10 minutes with me. She updates her computer and renews my Humira prescription. See you in 6 months. Almost worthless. A monkey could do her job. I’ve started taking supplements and have gone to an anti inflammatory diet. Dr Gundry and Dr Berg are saying many of the things in this video. I’m feeling much better and have lost some weight too. It’s a permanent change in lifestyle though. If you care about your health you need to take personal responsibility and take it seriously. We are killing ourselves with processed foods.
Hi Peter, yes we need more doctors to look at the root cause of illnesses.
I am deeply interested in natural therapies. On an emotional level... arthritis is connected to resentment. Always if I am talking to someone who is telling me they have arthritis I ask if they are holding resentment and the answer is always yes.
Take a moment to ask yourself that question...am I holding resentment...when did it start...does that correlate with the time my arthritis started (or connected symptoms) and then find ways to work through those emotions.
As we let go of trapped emotions we also help our body to heal...as emotions are also held in our cells...so as we heal them we start to heal our cells. (Along with eating foods that heal and nourish our cells at the same time)
I hope this helps.
With warmest regards and healing vibes, Sarah 🙂
Try Boswellia serrata excellent for most RA cases
@@bmniac You are so right about Boswellia. I have RA. Both Boswellia and Bromelain help more than 50 percent for me if I take them with a predominantly wholefood plant based diet, lean poultry/fish whenever I eat them about 4-5 times per week, ceylon cinnamon sticks brewed into teas, about 1 1/2 tbs of fresh ginger in smoothies or more amount brewed as teas, over 64 ounces of water throughout the day (without the risk to my organs drinking too much within one sitting), multiple avocados per week, sauerkraut multiple days per week, about 2 tsp of iodized sea salt in about a cup of water, 8-9 hours of sleep and vitamins C and D.
You have the tools to. Reset. 5 day water fast, then a carnivore diet, not easy but work, im getting ready Monday, due for another re set .

Dr Jin, you are SO clear and helpful!!! I am a Retired Registered Nurse and have figured out some of what you have presented here through many many months/years of research. You have consolidated most of that in this one video!!! AND added things I didn’t know!! Thank you for your dedication to our health and wellbeing!! You’re a treasure to the entire world!! I’m so grateful that you share invaluable information like this! It unravels the complex mystery and inner workings of the whole body and person at the same time! In the nursing profession, we learned to care for the entire person but in real life, it was more of a nice idea than a practical reality! You are successfully doing EXACTLY that!! This is how medicine “should be!!!”
I am an Medically Retired RN - was diagnosed with MS- if you gave any info, please share!! Ty !!
@@anagongs6353I don’t know if this is pertinent to you, but I was just speaking with a friend whose husband had ms. She said she thought low vitamin D played a part…much more important than we know!

The people who fall through the cracks are those of us who cannot work because of a [suspected] autoimmune disease, since exhaustion from stress (work causes stress) and the condition itself. If one cannot work, one does not have the large amounts of money to see a [good & competent] doctor to get all the tests done. Assuming it's a competent doctor. Government insurance will not give you a good doctor. And all the changes in environment and diet also cost money that poor people do not have.
Yess ! I have dealt with burnout for a few years now and I am considering working part time. I’m so tired every month for many years since I was a teen and the past 2 months I’ve been consistently sick. I haven’t gone to a good holistic doctor yet but I’ve had a consultation and the cost is very high. I’m willing to pay but I need to save more since insurance doesn’t cover it. I get all my information from doctors like Dr. Jin and many others and follow their guidance. I definitely don’t sleep 8 hours a day or eat healthily enough but I’m trying to do my best. If conditions don’t change, I am definitely going to the doctor again. I have had my metabolic panel checked and I paid out of pocket because these tests are not checked by my primary physician.
Well said. You couldn't sum it any better. Sometimes we have to be our own doctor to do a lot of legwork, research ourselves to steer us to the right competent doctors and treatment

I had RA in remission for several years with Paleo Diet. Then, I hit menopause, and the wheels fell off. Can’t seem to get back to where I was. So frustrating. Paleo is easy to follow if it makes you feel good. Very hard when you’re not seeing much benefit.
Carnivore is better. Look into plant toxins
i have been diagnosed with MS 15 years ago and I recovered greatly following a Paleo diet. My ex-wife 2 years ago complained a lot about my illness preventing us to travel around as much as she wished and it was wasting ger life and as you can imagine that would be stressful to hear which caused my MS to come back at full force. 1 year ago my ex left me with our 2 boys 10 and younger which added to my stress and increased MS symptoms and it took time to reduce the stress but MS recovery wasn't happening on the paleo until I switched to high fat, low carb ketovore. that is high fat carnivore with eating low carb (cooked asparagus, pressure cooked cabbage or cauliflower to get rid of as much oxolates) high fat grass fed meat and grassfed liver. wild caught salmon, grass fed butter (make sure you are not reacting to milk proteins ) 100 mg magnesium glycinate before bed, 100 mg magnesium citrate twice a day with meals as stool changes moving away to low fiber. magnesium citrate helps with bowel movement. daily Sun bath when possible for 15 minutes on front and back of body and 5000 iu d3 daily, 5 grams of pink Himalayan salt or redmond salt with 1/3 tsp of potassium citerate to balance electrolytes with 2 liters of water daily.
2 months and not only did my MS recovery improve than before, brain fog which i gave had since as early as middle school, bladder issue having to wakeup multiple times a night gone, dragging out of bed is gone. I hear the alarm and i can immediately get out of bed. all that happened 2 months after i switched to this diet.
i had to give up all fruit, honey, any form of sugar, coffee and teas.
it took a month for all carb cravings to go away. you have to fight the cravings and have the will to do it until these bacteria or any candida to die off. as they die the cravings increase until they are gone
@@SolomonTheStoryTeller When I first went paleo in 2012, getting off carbs was hard. I’m not carb addicted anymore. I just did a 35 hour fast to try to knock my RA back. It was no problem carb wise. This has always worked in the past, but for the first time, I only got mild RA benefit. Very frustrating. When Paleo started slowly failing me, I went to see a doc who specializes in Paleo diet. She said I needed more carbs. I think that was a mistake. I’ve had lots of life changes the last few years. My son goes off to college this August. I’m hoping to devote some more time and energy to my diet then. My thought is more fat, a little more protein, less carbs.
Omg! I love Dr.Jin! I have to ask my doctors to watch this!

Dairies are mostly the culprit for a lot of ppl , I tried vegan for almost 2 years and now I am pre diabetic , rosacea appear , my face was so dry by not eating meat or any fat. The Vitamin D3 placebo was Soybean oil (a seed oil). Seed oils are questionable and possibly toxic. I wonder What the D3 results would be if the placebo was different.
Dr ken Berry on here on Utube
Has made a video about oils and some of them are very bad for you
Seed oil and sugar, iodized salt, prescription drugs, processed packaged food, the plaque of modern humans.
Some D3’s are derived from Menaquinone-7 which is fermented soybean extracts. Would you say this kind of vegan and vegetarian D3 isn’t suitable for autoimmune diseases?
Right….they had to make up for the people they knew would get better by making others 🤢

OMG, this is incredible. I have Graves’ disease and T2 diabetes, I think I was diagnosed at stage 2 in late 2022 . Told my doctor to give me 3 months to do my thing. So I did intermittent fasting and started walking at least 3 miles 4-5 days a week but I tried to walk more when I can. 3 mos later my graves went into remission and I didn’t need my meds also put my diabetes in a prediabetic level which as of today I’m working on lowering it to a normal number. I know it can happen and you just solidified those thoughts in my mind, thank you so much for this. Oh I also revamped my diet , I still eat everything I want but just more quality and less of the unwanted ones like sugar, carbs, no seed oils ever again.
Can you please elaborate a bit more on diet I am very confused where to start
Can you please elaborate what type of diet is helping? I am very confused wheee to start
@@savreensidhu7887 hello Mr/Ms Sidhu. I did intermittent Fasting , I did it slowly in the beginning. I started with 12 hrs no food just water and I will stop eating at 6 pm everyday no matter what , then I slowly trained my mind to do 18 hr IF, 6 days a week and the remaining one day, I eat more than one meal with some little snacks. Eventually when my mind got used to IF I introduced a 36 hour fast nothing but water every 10 days and I'm working now to do it once a week . Regarding foods I just avoided anything white like foods made of flour like pasta, bread, noodles, cakes and pastries . I only eat half a cup of rice with my meal during my eating hours and if I need a snack I eat fruits or eggs anything that will help me feel full , I even snack on sardines in olive oil. Drink lots of clean water . I stopped eating gmo'd food products only organic and grass finished meats and veggies. Also eating fermented foods and I drink kefir everyday to strengthen my gut micro biome coz I have an auto immune disease. All in all I eat whatever I like that's sensible and clean meaning less chemicals in the foods and lots of exercise, water , and sleep . I also have sleep apnea. I'm still learning and experimenting and researching because I vowed to fight this evil diseases til I take my last breath. No one deserves to suffer but we need to learn how to fight our health issues correctly and so far I'm still doing ok. My Graves is still in remission as of my last check up 2 weeks ago but I'm working on my even further lowering my AIC. Goodluck to you Sir/ Mam May God be with you in your health journey and if there's anything else please don't hesitate to comment me again.
@@savreensidhu7887 by the way I would like to add to switch up your IF so that your body will not get used to the process and will continue to do autophagy where it eliminates the dead cells in you body and thus stop toxins from permeating you systems. This is one of the benefits of fasting. Please do some research for I'm not aware of what ails you and what works for me might be different for you. Also discuss your plans with your doctors.

Well said Dr Sung!!! I am impressed. Yes I do struggle with 2 autoimmune issues-1 is in remission. The other-is has gotten reduced to the point I went from 30 units of insulin a day down to now 10 or less total a day. I was alternating off of insulin a few years ago and at that point I was cautious but took 2-3 units a day total eating no flour but almost normal...an apple a day, chickpea pasta, etc and alternating off of insulin. Have you ever heard about Mast cell Disease? How would you go about fixing that Dr. Jin? Thank you for your truths
If the 3 day fast resets the immune system, why doesn’t it completely reverse autoimmune?
You would need to fast for at least a month to heal from it.
It can take years to reverse the damage sometimes it's months sometimes it's years there can also be other contributing factors. For example, if you're deficient in vitamin D, and you don't fix that, it's just gonna reoccur. If your immune system has gone wonky, you have to fix the cause... the wonky immune is a reaction to some thing. It's not the cause it's the result. Look up leaky gut. Theres a lot more to it than just whats in this video. Search many videos from many funtional med doctors and you will begin to see what information is being conveyed the most.
When the immune system is out of whack, you're not gonna fix it with anything in three days ... the body takes time to heal.
I once cured my dog for example of seizures .... and bladder infections. I came upon a natural veterinarian that works hand-in-hand with Dr. mercola. She has her own CZcams channel. She recommended complete grain free, including no potatoes for the dogs and she said it would take a minimum of six months to see a real solid change.
I found a food that had no potato and no other grains and was holistic . I began to see change. Within a month I saw no further bladder issues ....But she did have one final seizure, but within six months she was clear she lived to the age of 15 which was several more years and she didn't have any more issues never again a seizure. She lived to be 15, very old for a standard poodle. it takes time. Patience and persistence and out-of-pocket expense. My dog remained on that food the rest of her life.
Once she began to show some arthritis, I did some research and I used some penguin CBD oil which was made for dogs.... I saw an immediate relief and if I backed off of it, she got stiff again - I didn't think to look for root causes and they are arthritis. She was quite old and I've been dealing with my own health issues for which I'm looking for answers.
So the point is it takes time sometimes . Our bodies are complex and finding the root cause is the answer.

Ivermectin works on coronaviruses. Personally, I think viruses are parasites. Viruses often trigger autoimmune flare-ups.
Lyme disease is often resistant and under-diagnosed.
You are absolutely correct on all of the topics you've raised. As for practitioners not giving the patient enough time for a thorough exam, you are spot on! Patients should be scrutinized, studying their nails, skin and hair. Take photos if possible, to document changes.
Lastly, to all prescribing practitioners: please stop throwing NDAIDS at your patients. Actually LISTEN to them.
Functional medicine is essential. Wish there was more awareness on these conditions.
Thanks so much for bringing us these videos, Dr. Sung! ❤
Uh what
Viruses might be parasitic but they absolutely are not parasites......
Unfortunately, thinking viruses are parasites immediately voids your opinion on all things health. Look at in vitro and in vivo tissue images/videos of viruses vs parasites. I’d recommend an intro course to biology
@@ilevitatecs2 What viruses actually are is scientifically debatable. If they are non-living, what are they, then- tiny robots? If they are living, why aren't they classified as such? Because we don't know. Unfortunately, the fact that you don't know that virologists don't even know, invalidates your opinion.
Number one cause of ALL autoimmune diseases, which I treated during my 42 yr. medical practice, is adrenal fatigue/failure. Insufficient cortisol to degrade T-lymphocytes after a stress response/injury/infection turns our immune response loose on our own tissues. QED.
I have autoimmune now from a trauma and cortisol spike that would not shut off. I almost lost my daughter in the hospital after a standard procedure. So I didn’t sleep for months, I thought I was dying, lost 25 lbs and was already thin, started having anxiety and heart issues., low thyroid. Finally went to a nutritionist who put me on Paleo I was already eating clean; no sugar, caffeine, gluten or dairy before seeing her. I got in therapy, started gaining weight and practiced better sleep rhythms. I’ve now gained 22 lbs back but it took a year and a half. I can now exercise without fear of loosing weight, which helps with my energy & sleep. I still don’t do caffeine because I believe that messes with my nerves, makes me buzz inside And adrenals
What should we do?
@@Jamiet-lk8xq Get a doc (Naturpath?) to check your cortisol levels, if low, that's adrenal fatigue and the cause of your autoimmune disease(s). Get ahold of a copy of James Wilson's little book, "Adrenal Fatigue", which will guide you through the rebuilding of your adrenal glands and allay the autoimmune disease(s). I've done this several times when towards the end of my 42 yr busy, stressful medical practice, seeing up to 100 patients a week and suffering from an undiagnosed CPTSD since childhood. Any chronic stress/anxiety condition will wear out our adrenals, as well as the cells in our nervous system that make the feel-good chemicals:dopamine, endorphins, etc., and they will require stress management and a rebuild. You may, also, wish to check out my free online PDF, "Stress R Us". Good Luck and God bless us one and all!
could coffee lead to adrenal failure too?
@@Jamiet-lk8xqGet a copy of James Wilson's "Adrenal Fatigue" and follow the instructions, like I did, three times. But, stress management is the key. I've given a number of seminars on my free e-book, "Stress R Us", but Dr. Wilson's book is the Part 2 for my book, which is mostly about the problem, while his boo is all diagnosis and treatment. Good luck and have a blessed day!
Can you do an episode on Eosinophilic esophagitis? Would really love some insight on it. And there's very little information on it. Maybe even combine it with a allergy and asthma episode 😊
It likely does come down to diet as one of the first things to look at. I think that's where you're headed with your comment. I work in a G.I. clinic and what they are always told is they don't know what causes this it's immune triggered which means something triggered it. And then they throw something like a steroid at them to calm down. A 3 month run of steroid.... and or possibly a PPI which can cause its own gut issues I'm finding after listening to functional medicine doctors.
Hence, why, I'm sure you're asking for a video on this topic .. The answers are not coming from the actual traditional medicine specialist. I can tell you that much.
They are told to avoid supplements, control, their reflux, etc. rarely rarely do I see them referred for allergy tst, food, sensitivity, testing, etc. none of that at all
These people just continue to call in with their complaints and guess what ...it makes them money . This is the whole truth. This is what the traditional healthcare system is now. Doctors get paid for the procedures. They do the office visits sometimes the medication that they prescribe and definitely the testing that they do. So you can ask yourself while why aren't they just willing to order the useful test?
It was cure and then they might not see you ....
Those that actually want to care patients are leaving and going to functional medicine
Insurance won't cover functional medicine most of the time can you guess why ....
This is why so many of us are on the Internet, trying to take things into our own hands
In some cases, especially emergency medicine traditional medicine is needed because there are no other answers but overall I no longer trust, traditional medicine or pharmaceuticals in most cases
Have you read the book "An Epidemic of Absence"?
I did this and at 5-11 and 135 I think it's time to consider a more rounded human diet with a focus on NonGmo local organic because like what if animals are sentient beings or what happens when the apocalypse happens and all there is to eat is fruit and my body only understands meat and my gutt explodes?
The least they could have done in that study for placebo give somebody a healthy oil. I'd be really upset if I found out they were feeding me soybean oil the whole time, holy cow.
I agree, but it was some capsules ? , not like they drank bottles

What about Seronegative Hashimotos? How do you know your stage?
It needs to be CLARIFIED that ANA can be negative and autoimmunity can still be present! Many diseases such as RA, SLE, Sjogren's and other can be seronegative for specific antibodies and for ANA....etc...just for everyone out there that may be trying to find out if they have a condition or not....
You are correct. ANA can be negative with other positive autoimmune markers.

How many milligrams of vitamin D3 should a person over 50 take per day? Thank you
Is there a way to reverse lichen sclerosis?
Errata: That 800mg Vitamin D in the Boston study cannot be right. I presume you meant 800 units. 800mg of Vitamin D3 would be 32 million IU.
Also would be a good idea to post links to your referenced studies/papers below your video. Thanks.
What about polymiositis and dermatomyositis which cause weakness of muscles please we need to hear from from this diseases
I was just diagnosed with DM in Jan and on meds that are not working. Are you currently on any meds and are they working?
Yes, my wife has polymyositis 16 years. She read book The Road back arthritis , about Dr. Thomas McPherson Brown he recommended antibiotics. She’d been using antibiotics for 15 years, kept polymyositis in remission. Then she left doctor because insurance changed and on mycophenolate and her muscles are degrading, can’t get out of a chair and she’s thin, never obese, and always playing sports, but not anymore. She wants to go back on doxycycline, read the book it’s very interesting!!

What is diabetes , insulin resistance, pcos??
They want me to start meds I had a high rheumatoid factor 200 but CCP and all inflammation is negative. I don’t know what to do. Should I get a second opinion. I was sick a few times during last winter when everyone got the chest cold and had bad back and neck pain like knots but I wasn’t eating well and lost weight and muscle. I’m not sure if that was a flare. I can’t tell because I have no arm leg hands stuff. Only one toe is restless at night .
What about dermatographia?
This is so aggravating. Everyone on YT saying to remove gluten dairy, grains, etc. but not really saying why. What is happening in the body when these foods are eaten? Other than "they're inflammatory" which is what everyone says. Why are they inflammatory? What's the science behind it?
There are sections of amino acids (the building blocks of protein) in milk and gluten that resemble protein in tissues in the body. If you have increased intestinal permeability ('leaky gut') these amino acid sequences can leak from the gut into the bloodstream and potentially provoke an immune reaction that then can cause an immune response to the similar tissue in your body. You don't want that. Gluten also tends to open up the tiny gaps between cells in the gut wall which can potentially exacerbate this.
What you have listed are common intolerences. Your body doesn't recognize them as being safe. Your own immune system attacks them and anything that is close. This causes inflammation.
@@sarahtheorme Yes, you are correct.
Look up the concept of food proteins and molecular mimicry and autoimmunity. I could do more complex videos on this topic but it gets more technical.
I am not a doc., but the cause is inflammation. Eating wheat, pasta diary you have got imflamation- main reason in due time of cancer when not treated.
Rosacea/ocular rosacea? I got sick after topical ivermectin triggered inflammation/skin barrier damage
Do we get all of these from chemtrails,... the food and the air we breath.
Dr. Sung. This is great and all but could you please make a video going over the most effective things you can do against cancer when you have it? It really seems like your whole channel you just avoid the topic yet it's one of the most common things that kills people around the world. As in, don't suggest chemo or radiation because this just ends up killing the patient or giving rebound cancers but is there anything homeopathic or natural you can suggest? It would be really helpful

Did you have any die off side effects? I'm thinking about doing the iv thanks for your reply Godspeed
They say osteoarthritis isn't an autoimmune disease. I understand how it happens. Wear on the cartilage, rubbing, etc. However, I do not agree with why it happens. It doesn't make sense to me. The way you're supposed to treat the disability is basically exactly how you got the disability. Does not make any sense to me. That makes me feel its a nutritional or gut health reason. Something causes the body not to lubricate the joint/cartilage. And to me the "theory" that we can't regrow cartilage also makes no sense to me. If it can't grow, then you're telling me the cartilage around the bones/joints was full size since birth & it just spreads out as the bones grow from infant to adult? Or the cartilage grew in size since infantcy to adulthood. Something caused it to grow. And if it grew before then it should be able to grow again. It's not teeth. We just can't seem to figure out how to regrow it yet.
That “something that causes the body not to lubricate the joint/cartilage” for one, is not stretching. When tightness builds up in the body and in your muscles it puts pressure and strain on the surrounding joint, tendons and ligaments. Causing the wear and tear to the joint. Inactivity and tightness underpin this manifestation. Also for women, a lack of estrogen in perimenopause and menopause contributes to OA. These lower hormone levels increase inflammatory proteins known to contribute to OA.
@@faithpeacelove I was told mine was caused by repetitive movements. Bending, twisting, stepping up, stepping down. Basically my work. Those movements are basically stretching & being active. I also weight train 3-4 days a week. I also do road cycling. I am quite active & incorporate a lot of stretching. My physio therapist told me the treatment for OA was basically bending, twisting, step up, step down. Not literally but that is basically what I'm supposed to do. The EXACT reason how I got it is exactly how I'm supposed to rehab it!
Everything I do in the gym is excellent for treating OE. So this is why I don't believe it is a wear & tear over time issue. Because I have been treating OE long before I ever got OE. My diet over the years hasn't been the greatest. This makes more sense to me than physical activities or lack of activities
If a person from the age they were born moved biomechanically correct and strengthen all their muscles and tendons preventing imbalances, I believe this person would not get arthritis. Arthritis seems to be a load management problem. When the joint can’t handle the given load over many years the body stabilizes it by building out the bone and decreasing the cartilage. I’m not a doctor though.
@@nsiebenmor Yes! Exactly. Plus some areas of the body do not necessarily bear a constant load and develop arthritis anyway i.e. finger joints. This goes back to my point about consistent stretching, avoiding obesity, and maintaining an active lifestyle. Which ties in with your point about moving biomechanically correct and preventing IMBALANCES. Stretching will help prevent imbalances. Especially when a person is frequently undergoing physical activity. A lot of people skip this piece because they can't "see" the results. In my experience, sadly, many doctors aren't trained in the anatomy this way (preventing physical imbalances) because the medical model is allopathic medicine -- you have a symptom, here's a prescription - but there are some well trained and intelligent physiotherapists and registered massage therapists, as well as athletes in the body building space, who understand these principles.
