- The man accused of plotting the attacks of September 11 and two of his accomplices have reached a plea agreement in the military commissions process, the Pentagon announced. The three men have been held at a prison in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, for over 20 years.

This is a huge coincidence. I was just going down the 9/11 rabbit hole all this week. My suggestion for everyone else is don't look too deep into this disaster. It gets pretty creepy and disturbing, especially some of the stories from that day
..and making deals 20 years later on top of that.

Probably because any evidence gathered probably was gathered illegally by today's standards in court so therefore it would be thrown out not be able to be used. They don't want to risk that.
