vid idea: silvers vs silvers but one team is told they are up against golds, and the other team is told they are up against bronze. Does confidence in rank difference make a difference?

@@Ac-rt1ho valorant curious has done that before I think they were on alts, but anyway the teams thought they were playing against different ranks
The thing about lower elos is that the lower down you are, the less predictible they are, and so more randomness is introduced, and so strats matter less
Today I had the best valorant match in my life. I was playing a bit of comp( iron) and the enemy raze had a bit to much flicks and 9 out of 10 kills are headshots. And was always able to tell where we were. So me and my team reported him and 2 rounds later our game was terminated due to a cheater. There's nothing more satisfying than getting a cheater banned 😂👍

My friend was silver 3 even after the late pearl update. He was given a unranked account that was last plat 1 and he got placed plat one and then worked to plat 3 and is now almost diamond. The ranks in this game make no sense
So your friend is inconsistent

Not really, if the account got placed plat 1 then all the hard work is done for him, he’s out of gold and silver and even a bronze player can climb through plat given the right circumstances it’s a rank where it’s really not hard to climb as long as you’re a willing team player, the second you say “it’s his teammates” you lose all credibility, it’s just a horrible excuse

I'm gold 3, and based on my lobbies, there's zero difference between plats and golds. Sometimes even silvers keep up with the plats. Low elo is really something else.

I reached plat for the first time in 8 months yesterday. But my first comp match in plat elo our reyna afk'd on the 4th round, we managed to win 2 rounds without her but we still ended up losing. My second comp in plat elo, my teammates were decent but we cannot execute our strats properly which led to our defeat and my demote to gold. I wanted to go back to plat but this time my teammates were toxic, I lost focus and i was underperforming compared two matches before. And yes we lost.

Hardstuck gold. Within this act I went from silver 3 to plat 1 in two weeks or so. That was the fastest I’ve ever went through all three tiers of a rank before.
I was hard stuck silver and with the new update and rank I have been ranking up like crazy, already on gold 2

Rutil should be in silver and shotgun sage should be in bronze. Phoenix main is actually too good to be in gold. Just my opinion.
