- Sew along with me as I make blocks for a 60" square quilt - Part 7, making Block 6.
Red and green for Christmas, or blues or scrappy leftovers - so many choices! When we have some blocks made we can use a Quilt as you Go method to put them together.
This week we make Block 6.
In Part 4 we looked at quilting the blocks and starting to put them together, already quilted, a form of Quilt as you Go.
There are 2 each of 6 different blocks as well as an alternating block which forms a delicious chain with stars.
The blocks measure 12 1/2" square. The quilt measures 60" square.
The Sew Along will go for 8 weeks.

Hi SusanClair, Im all caught up! I will send you some pics. Since I have very limited Christmas fabrics block 4 just didn't look good. So I changed it up a bit. Its been a wonderful sew along. Tfs

Hi, yes, I hadn't realised you could hear them too! We have lots of birds around as we are coming into summer now.
