      Audi integrates or uses the static cornering lights inside the main headlights as "foglights" I do think they use part of the matrix beam for that too. The lights are super nice to ride at night.

    I totally agree with you Audi must bring back the turning norb I'm Audi fan but because of that I won't to buy BMW 3 series because they have the turning norb Audi don't get it. It makes the interior looks soo cool.

  • @milosmrdovic7233
    @milosmrdovic7233 Před 4 lety +7

    With most face-lift models, Audi pretty much does two steps forward, one step back. The headlights, grille and taillights look nicer, however I absolutely hate some of the changes, including:
    1. Removal of central knob (why for God's sake?)
    2. Removal of fuel and temperature gauges from virtual cockpit (which now looks way smaller and dull)
    3. Fake exhaust pipes (yuck!)
    4. Buying software options!

    • @Scythra
      @Scythra Před 4 lety

      Completely agree, especially their interior design. It is so uninspiring. For example, it's 2020 and they still put a stuck-on screen, no integration with the dashboard. Plastics everywhere, with only the steering wheel and central console having leather or piano black trims. I mean, come on, it's an Audi ffs not a Volkswagen. The exterior however, is an improvement. Really aggressive looking, better looking hood, head- and taillights. Then it fails again with the fake exhausts, I get the symmetrical design, but at least put a non-working exhaust pipe instead of a closed black box. Going for Mercedes instead, interior and exterior design is just top notch in comparison. No comprises made.

    @9:45 Surplus? More like lowering the cost to manufacture the physical buttons. I'm so upset with Audi putting a screen to all their models because the manufacturing cost of a screen is way less than individual parts. Same with not continuing the sidelines like the A5 on the new A4. Honestly, BMW is the only one still offering both touch screens and physical rotary knobs which is a big game-changer for me. What do you think?

    • @crospotter13

Wonder if one day shall ever do what all other countries do, sell different grades of car and have levels of kit in keeping with the price charged? Heated seats though should be standard across all, just unreasonable for a car of this size.

    It is a lazy dashboard for the new model as looks dated from new. I have the new A6 and the dashboard looks like a baby A8 and in the style of the new design language. Even the A3 that has just come out has the new style dashboard. Anyone that buys this knows that in two years or so this dashboard shall completely change and shall lose even more value than Audi normally do - which is awful under normal circumstances. Obviously if somebody is leasing this would make no difference only when purchasing the car.
