yup, I hate to say it but Ive stopped playing. The voice communications are rough. Everyones mic souns different and theyre all muffled . I sometimes play Holdfast: Nations at War and that tiny games mics are 50x better than Hell Let Loose. It's annoying.
Black Matter left the game a disorganized, stretched out mess. Game direction took a nose dive early on and core gameplay was left in the same unfinished state it's in today.
@@mr.stotruppen8724 Couldn't agree more, game was always in a rough state under BM but it felt like the overall quality of the game tanked after they announced the Team 17 sale, and rushed out the "1.0" launch of the game with the eastern front before jumping ship and leaving T17 with a dumpster fire that they have also continued to fumble in dealing with. I uninstalled a long time ago and so has all the guys from the small clan I was in I don't see how anybody can find enjoyment in the game especially the older players that have been around since the early days.
Just jump on enlisted lol if enough hll players get on it the one company with money might actually listen to the players and try to make the best ww2 fps there can be on the market. A company like team17 will either have to lower itself to being a f2p model just to compete with a scummy rival like gaijin or go bankrupt failing to sell skins to make back their millions

They weren't ready for a console release back then, they aren't ready for proper console support now, and all it really did was setting back development for the PC version for almost a year with their attempt at PC/console parity. But I hope that you console guys finally get at least some basic QoL updates.

The game still plays and runs fine. I was kinda pushed away, but when I stopped reading reddit and watching these videos, I went back and still having fun.
Seems like HLL and Squad44 have swapped in a way as since Squadd44 has been taken over by Offworld and Mercury Arts they have released some big updates and made some real good progress to the point that the game has seen a new influx of player. Will be interesting to see how HLL competes as I think Squad44 is starting to make a come back.
yeah I think at one point HLL is gonna mess up in an even bigger way and people are gonna start moving to Squad44, especially once that Pacific update comes out in the Winter
I just move out to Squad 44 after 2,300 hours of HLL... The only issues about the transition is the aim and run... squad 44 is harder to aim, and run faster... In HLL my kills was about 70 kills per match, and now on Squad44 im killing like 40 ~45 per match... Is harder, but not impossible get improve...
As a HLL player, tried Squad 44. Interesting gameplay, similar to HLL but I can't play when there's only 3 servers avaliable total during peak hour. And they are the only servers available and they are full. Wtf.
They have dedicated official servers running Skirmish. They're also dead. And the communities that run their own servers have no interest in paying for servers and then running dead games on them.

The problem of these games are the large scale, not really bad but one reason why large scale games like bf except bf2042 is good because its not a walking simulator. I mean just look at el alamien its large and empty.... literally just walk til u get shot. Key point Sacrificing gameplay for scale is never good.

Polish Units that survived the fall of Poland operated independently of British units and weren’t just mixed into British Infantry squads like that. Its literally having a bunch of cosmetics that overreach historical accuracy AND making some of them only available on one map while being the price of half of the game so nobody wins. A lot of people play the game specifically because its more realistic in comparison to other ww2 shooters so historical accuracy matters along with the fact that it is just bad business practice.

@@John.McMillan the merge fixed the Q times and reduced the xp grind. Not sure what you mean? They even updated the matchmaking to prevent mismatches in equipment loadouts.
There are pros and cons to campaigns and merge. Merge is better for the games life though. Regardless enlisted is still fire (and it runs harmoniously on consoles just like HLL) you should play it whether you're enjoying HLL or not
Actually i do like the night mission's in HLL ,you said it ,the skirmish mode is not what HLL is about 💯 . I want a 100 + player game ,to rush the map with 50 + guys is just awesome .
people should start to voice their issues and concerns with the game, thats how things change for the better. Team17 was supposed to be bigger and better than Black matter, where are the results of increased development power, have they completely abandoned their original roadmap and reverted to the same old why is the majority of new content (maps) not included by most community servers? could it be that they dont understand how to make maps for this game or the maps are riddled with performance issues and other things(including maps added by BlackMatter before T17)
@@verdun16 I am cautiously optimistic for Eisenborn because they said they would avoid any landmarks, which means they can now concentrate on making a good map just by map design instead of sticking to any real-life restrictions. Can't say I like that idea in general, though - one of the great things about the old maps was travelling to the real-life places and finding things from the game standing even today - Eisenborn is just "hills and trees and snow".
Why do people act like BM was amazing at updates? Their updates always broke a bunch of stuff in the game the russian maps were fucking trashcans. They still are but at least T17 has admitted the code is busted up and they are trying to clean up things as they go along. Sure they are screwing up a bunch too and likely they should just give a full year to get as much fixed as they can.
I love this game but im playing it less and less these days. Squad 44' is alot better than it used to be. Just needs the player numbers like HLL to get it really going. I just hope HLL doesn't turn into a total dumpster fire like what happened to Heroes and Generals. Either way, this is what happens when you let the bean counters have a say in the game.
Squad 44 has always full servers. If there are more people playing this game then its the same experience as now a full server is full even if you have more players
lol squad44 gets Pacific theater and evens Mediterranean theater before HLL. Shit next they’ll probably add Canadians because the Ross Rifle is in the game or maybe the Soviets to also fight Japan or hell maybe even an actually good Africa, unlike HLL
Soviets are already in with Chapter Red mod which if the trend continues will be added to official at some point like the recent Project Variety ( Lots of new vehicles and tanks).
I would love to see the second sino-japanese war too, but idk what weapons the chinese forces might have. Maybe captured japanese weapons? I saw a film with the chinese having german equipment but i also dk if it’s historically accurate.
every update should be named go with a side note telling us which bugs they are introducing because they obviously do not test before releasing. voip bug is now celebrating its 4 year anniversary. but there is more. panthers that get stuck on a wooden bucket, a little spoon hill sizes hill of sand can stop a tiger at full speed etc etc.

I like skirmish mode simply for the fact that it adds more game types and more diversity to the combat of the game. It’s a WW2 game and WW2 had both long and medium range battles like we see with other game modes and it had high intensity close range combat like skirmish so to me it adds more combat to the game that has a place in a WW2 game if that makes sense
Nah, in that case I actually think it's more like the "we re-watch Band of Brothers once a year" type. Their level of "research" on the Cromwell being a prime example of just how passionate they are (they literally googled "Cromwell tank" and copied one of the tanks from Bovington, but their passion and enthusiasm didn't go far enough to notice that it's a Polish 1st Armoured tank, not a tank from any British unit)
I've been laying HLL since day 1 and have yet to see anything like a scam as the title is insisting. I will say, rubber banding and lag has been an issue since day 1.
They took over HLL but have no idea of HLL. Skirmish, utter bollocks, doesn't work unless you change squad compositions and respawn timers. But still wasted dev time. Britain: balance them against Germany and give them very rapid firing SMLEs, did take a while. Still Britain is not played because no one wants to. DAK vs Britain: still no one wants to play those maps. Maybe there is too much tech debt or something but right now HLL is getting updated too slowly I can't seriously go on the grind for Assault IX anymore. We are supposed to have Finnland by now, aren't we?
This is why indie games just never last once their game gets popular they just try to make it a money grab and the quality of the game dips they start releasing over priced cosmetics and stop caring about the stability and replayability of the game I truly love HLL it’s sad to see it die the same death of so many others
The bugs in the game are still really baffling they still push out and try and charge for skins and cosmetics ,but there still bugs that unequip the uniforms when you play it’s been like that before the game take over … they are strangely focusing on cosmetics over game content nothing but US/GER maps in a game that has Russian and British factions .. you could make other theatres that bring the community back … good will gestures aren’t put first it’s a shame the community are more passionate then the higher ups …
Why baffling ? Black Matter cashed out , Team 17 bought it for making money not because they really wanted to make a WW2 game. Anything that does not make money goes to back of the queue and is only touched if a fuss is made about it.
I enjoy the new map verities. especially when playing artillery on fog beach maps since it forces recon to leave the hills. night maps are nice because it makes shooting risky since muzzle flash will reveal position.
@@geealex7990 3500 hours, more than 1000 of them as Recon both in comp and public matches. Trust me, the second I see your arty firing, I know where you are in relation to my position. Might take me one or two shots to get into your reload rhythm (usually it's around 1 or 1.5 secs for you to swap position to reload for me to take the shot), but I'll get you eventually. Or my spotter just moves up and shanks you while you duck, who knows. Then again, using Recon on arty is a waste of time anyway. I'd rather roll up in the recon tank and HE the gun pit.
@@geealex7990 Just telling you how it is, mate. If a sniper wants you off the beach guns, it doesn't matter if it's day or night. Unless you keep switching randomly between the guns, you should be gone after they observe two or three of your shots. Night maps are one of the few instances where putting a truck next to the guns actually is a decent strategy, though - since we're firing more on estimation than sight picture, every LoS blocker throws us a curveball.
time for people to get into post scriptu- i mean squad 44... did i mention squad 44 just got a massive 33 vehicle update and is probably going to get a pacific theater update (not dlc) within the next 8 months?
I feel like its the common trend of "We honestly thought the community would like it" syndrome Helldivers does it too and a few other games i can't think off the top of my head at the moment they just assume the community will be Aokay with these trashy releases and things nobody asked for
I bought it when it came out on PS5, i have 2 hours in gameplay time and that 2 hours is legitimately me starting the game-> logging in-> the game crashes before i can press any button. I got in touch with team 17, they said it was a PlayStation issue and to contact Sony, i contacted sony they said its a team 17 issue.
Personally love the night variants.. some new weapons and maps would be nice, it can get a little tedious but the variants at least switch up approaches and play style every now and then Edit - also, I enjoy skirmish when I don’t have the spare time to fully get engrossed in an hour long match. There is nothing wrong with skirmish other than noobs not understanding the fundamentals of the game, very frustrating not laying supplies/ garrisons/ OP’s.. no mics… other than that I’ve had some brilliant times on skirmish
I play Post Scriptum (Squad 44 now) and I almost bought HLL recently. I’m glad I didn’t! We’ve got plenty of room in our servers if you guys want to come and visit 😉
Since Hell let loose past content updates were only skins and microtransactions and Squad 44 got a massive Update that completely changed the game im ssying goodbye to HLL for a while. I really hope they make a comeback though now that there is some competition.
Thank you for the update on what's going on, I've been out of the loop and have become too frusterated with team 17. You convinced me to write a negative review on steam, because the last few times I have played I've noticed the quality of the game blatantly getting worse.
The game is attracting more of the wrong player base. Less and less play the objective, stick together as a squad or even communicate. I was recently trolled in a game by another SL for wanting them to build garries. Before Team 17 the player base was mostly exactly what the game was made for. Now it’s basically attracting BF and COD style players. I’m moving to Squad 44 because I hear so much more positivity about it. Such a shame for HLL and its core player base
well for 1 outfit u need to pay 3 dollars and in the new dlc you get 3 outfits for 12 dollars so its quite fair but i have to agree that using this on only 1 map is bad
they don't know they are effecting more than just the game I've made memories with great people in this game military history is my passion if this ends it will be very sad
I played Hell Let Loose regularly since 2020 and I gotta say the game fell off after the Soviet update in 2022. I feel the game peaked back then. The British update was underwhelming.
The Australian servers almost never have the British maps playing so a large chunk of the update basically could never have happened and nothing would be different. The HLL maps in general are utter shit. The game is severely hamstrung due to the bad maps.
@@appllwithmemesif you think that, then you’re either not playing the game properly or your commander/ squad leader doesn’t know the fundamentals of the game. Setting garrisons/ OP’s. You can’t blame the game if you aren’t using the tools at your disposal…
Things they could do without any significant extra workstreams. Change artillery to 10 munitions a shell, removing the need to have recon/artillery deadlock cycle. - means that you only fire it for a reason, and for short spells. Remove silly nightmaps from rotation, - literally no point. Add a few trenches to difficult maps - El Alemain, Driel, Foy. Remove the pointless foliage from Mortain (boring bush simulator map with 100m max view makes strategy irrelevant). Increase target damage of precision strike (reverse the nerf) so it guarantees a kill on impact - otherwise what's the point?! Reduce skin cost to $4 for all assets. Increase range of flame thrower by 30%. Put a hard outline box on all capture sectors on warfare mode to remind people that that the whole 2x2 area is a capture zone. Raise the camera height on the body so there's less headshots when in cover. I think all those are fast fixes that will significantly help the flow and appeal of games, instead of them wasting time.
All of these changes would be good, but there's a couple things you have to look at. 1. The maps are designed to basically be as realistic and accurate as possible. There's only so much tweaking that can be done seeing that the maps are literally scans and shit of the actual battle sites. 2. The camera position thing just wouldnt feel right. Right now it feels like it's eye level. And having to be extra cautious on whether you're head is poking out or not is very realistic and adds to the whole immersion. And all that. Not sure if that change is really any good.
PS5 player. For me, the reason I’ve stopped playing a bit was the fact it was the same maps again and again. Russian maps. You would jump for joy when you got a Normandy one. They also need to fix things like flamethrower distance. I don’t care about night maps. But hey, they are still better than playing on Kursk as Russians.
Everything was fine for a long time under Black Matter?? Hahahahahahaha. I’ve been here since the beginning. Black Matter was also wholly incompetent. Maybe the new devs are worse…but that doesn’t mean Black Matter was a great studio. They had PLENTY of issues as well.
So a game dev who’s only made games like overcooked and dredge(no hate on dredge it’s good) tries their hand at a FPS game, who could have thought it would have gone well.
I don’t play Hell let loose, Post Scriptum is mainly where I’ve gone due to it getting bought for me. Most of all I play Arma 3, multiplayer tends to not be my thing if I’m by myself so making editor missions in whatever time period works best for me. There are several mods that adds WW2 uniforms, GEAr and Forgotten Fronts being the best examples. They add essentially every variation of uniform for free while remaining high quality (by a game that came out in 2013 standards). I don’t mind customization DLCs but I think especially for a game like this paying to get SS camo and a customized US skin is ridiculous. Having a dlc for the reinforced version of the M42 paratrooper uniform is baffling even if it’s free now. IMO if they need to sell customizations for money it should be small details, not uniforms. Sell a customization bundle that gives you glasses, an iron cross, a grenade stuffed in your boot, a hat under your helmet, rolled sleeves, scarves, etc. The uniforms themselves should just be a part of the unit and time period you’re in. You shouldn’t really be able to choose it, because you wouldn’t have irl. Just make it your own like real soldiers would. I have seen videos of people using winter skins in the summer, idk if that’s changed again don’t play HLL but your team’s integrity shouldn’t be based on wether or not your teammates select the right skin or not in a milsim game.
He said "they have never done this before" in regards to a cosmetic DLC (that was - at the time of release - only applicable to 1/16 of the map) costing almost half of what the full game cost (before the T17 price hikes).
I played this game from beta in 2018 all the way till the British were released and i can safely say the game is EXACTLY what I kept telling my friend's it would become....a soulless WW2 cashgrab that DARES you to be stupid enough to buy cosmetics. The fact they're charging $50 now is unacceptable especially with the amount of bugs that have never been fixed. The biggest of all the bugs is glitch where if you're sprinting and mantle over a low fence or wall, your character does a weird stutter that prohibits movement. I tried to love this game but I just can't support the devs or publishers especially with how greedy Team17 has been. I wish all of you who still try to enjoy the game the best of luck.
Not even gonna lie i could look past all of this if they just added the ability to adjust graphics settings in xbox, i feel like the graphics have gotten worse to the point where I cant tell what anything is but during the free weekend on pc i was cooking and the graphics were great
Yes but when you like to be in more battles, then just a dark version of a map that you’ve played over and over again could also introduce different factions like Polish and French, I rather be able to be more than most into different parts of World War III history than just D-Day. I’m not saying that’s all the game is. It’s just with them adding night maps to battles that they’ve already done instead of trying to make new ones is just boring
I hate the night map variants. For one thing, Few battles are fought at night, for obvious reasons, - for another, it is generating "content" that no one asked for. Why play Carentan at night? What's the point!?

Honestly I've still to try the skirmish mode but for me it looks appealing, I love ww2 and simulation but an hour of match with almost only walking and looking at pixel with the limited time I have is not the best
That's like every single shooter now so what's even the point of complaining? May as well encourage these companies to add more paid content that alters gameplay because every company is looking towards f2p games wanting to imitate their financial success. Only thing you can wish for is a company like gaijin that is pretty scummy, but not nearly as scummy as the worst offenders in which there are many
I have noticed ever since the Mortain update I have never and I mean never been put on the Soviet team and I've been put in a Soviet map 3 times since the update out of dozens and dozens of games how come it completely ignores the eastern front as an option when match making

@@John.McMillan the merge fixed the Q times and reduced the xp grind. Not sure what you mean? They even updated the matchmaking to prevent mismatches in equipment loadouts.
There are pros and cons to campaigns and merge. Merge is better for the games life though.
Regardless enlisted is still fire (and it runs harmoniously on consoles just like HLL) you should play it whether you're enjoying HLL or not

Mortain didn’t really meet my expectations. I really, really want Elsenborn Ridge to be a good map since Foy is my favorite map.
@@verdun16 I am cautiously optimistic for Eisenborn because they said they would avoid any landmarks, which means they can now concentrate on making a good map just by map design instead of sticking to any real-life restrictions.
Can't say I like that idea in general, though - one of the great things about the old maps was travelling to the real-life places and finding things from the game standing even today - Eisenborn is just "hills and trees and snow".
Why do people act like BM was amazing at updates? Their updates always broke a bunch of stuff in the game the russian maps were fucking trashcans. They still are but at least T17 has admitted the code is busted up and they are trying to clean up things as they go along. Sure they are screwing up a bunch too and likely they should just give a full year to get as much fixed as they can.

I love this game but im playing it less and less these days. Squad 44' is alot better than it used to be. Just needs the player numbers like HLL to get it really going.
I just hope HLL doesn't turn into a total dumpster fire like what happened to Heroes and Generals. Either way, this is what happens when you let the bean counters have a say in the game.

I would love to see the second sino-japanese war too, but idk what weapons the chinese forces might have. Maybe captured japanese weapons? I saw a film with the chinese having german equipment but i also dk if it’s historically accurate.

I like skirmish mode simply for the fact that it adds more game types and more diversity to the combat of the game. It’s a WW2 game and WW2 had both long and medium range battles like we see with other game modes and it had high intensity close range combat like skirmish so to me it adds more combat to the game that has a place in a WW2 game if that makes sense
which is why i like skirmish, other maps are squad ish very big, nothing happens much u walk so far only to get killed and repeat,

Nah, in that case I actually think it's more like the "we re-watch Band of Brothers once a year" type.
Their level of "research" on the Cromwell being a prime example of just how passionate they are (they literally googled "Cromwell tank" and copied one of the tanks from Bovington, but their passion and enthusiasm didn't go far enough to notice that it's a Polish 1st Armoured tank, not a tank from any British unit)
I've been laying HLL since day 1 and have yet to see anything like a scam as the title is insisting. I will say, rubber banding and lag has been an issue since day 1.
When I start rubber banding I just stop moving and it's gone. I'm on console.
They took over HLL but have no idea of HLL.
Skirmish, utter bollocks, doesn't work unless you change squad compositions and respawn timers. But still wasted dev time.
Britain: balance them against Germany and give them very rapid firing SMLEs, did take a while. Still Britain is not played because no one wants to.
DAK vs Britain: still no one wants to play those maps.
Maybe there is too much tech debt or something but right now HLL is getting updated too slowly I can't seriously go on the grind for Assault IX anymore.

The bugs in the game are still really baffling they still push out and try and charge for skins and cosmetics ,but there still bugs that unequip the uniforms when you play it’s been like that before the game take over … they are strangely focusing on cosmetics over game content nothing but US/GER maps in a game that has Russian and British factions .. you could make other theatres that bring the community back … good will gestures aren’t put first it’s a shame the community are more passionate then the higher ups …
Why baffling ? Black Matter cashed out , Team 17 bought it for making money not because they really wanted to make a WW2 game. Anything that does not make money goes to back of the queue and is only touched if a fuss is made about it.
I enjoy the new map verities. especially when playing artillery on fog beach maps since it forces recon to leave the hills. night maps are nice because it makes shooting risky since muzzle flash will reveal position.
If you think the fog/darkness is any protection from recon on the cliffs, you're playing against shitty recon.

Trust me, the second I see your arty firing, I know where you are in relation to my position. Might take me one or two shots to get into your reload rhythm (usually it's around 1 or 1.5 secs for you to swap position to reload for me to take the shot), but I'll get you eventually.
Or my spotter just moves up and shanks you while you duck, who knows.
Then again, using Recon on arty is a waste of time anyway. I'd rather roll up in the recon tank and HE the gun pit.

If a sniper wants you off the beach guns, it doesn't matter if it's day or night. Unless you keep switching randomly between the guns, you should be gone after they observe two or three of your shots.
Night maps are one of the few instances where putting a truck next to the guns actually is a decent strategy, though - since we're firing more on estimation than sight picture, every LoS blocker throws us a curveball.
time for people to get into post scriptu- i mean squad 44... did i mention squad 44 just got a massive 33 vehicle update and is probably going to get a pacific theater update (not dlc) within the next 8 months?
I really hope that hell let loose doesn’t fail as us console players don’t really have military sims.

What you dont understand is Team 17 got rid of their in house developers. You are seeing the results.
I bought it when it came out on PS5, i have 2 hours in gameplay time and that 2 hours is legitimately me starting the game-> logging in-> the game crashes before i can press any button.
I got in touch with team 17, they said it was a PlayStation issue and to contact Sony, i contacted sony they said its a team 17 issue.
All I wanted was some performance improvement. 70 fps with a RTX 3070 is unacceptable.
Skirmish is just not worth playing on console ,I've spent more time banning team killers than anything else
The stuttering/fps drops has been in the game for years on PS5 and sill NO FIX!!!
It’s still thriving, night variants are a nice mix up, skermish is absolutely trash
Personally love the night variants.. some new weapons and maps would be nice, it can get a little tedious but the variants at least switch up approaches and play style every now and then
Edit - also, I enjoy skirmish when I don’t have the spare time to fully get engrossed in an hour long match. There is nothing wrong with skirmish other than noobs not understanding the fundamentals of the game, very frustrating not laying supplies/ garrisons/ OP’s.. no mics… other than that I’ve had some brilliant times on skirmish
I play Post Scriptum (Squad 44 now) and I almost bought HLL recently. I’m glad I didn’t! We’ve got plenty of room in our servers if you guys want to come and visit 😉

Since Hell let loose past content updates were only skins and microtransactions and Squad 44 got a massive Update that completely changed the game im ssying goodbye to HLL for a while. I really hope they make a comeback though now that there is some competition.

The game is attracting more of the wrong player base. Less and less play the objective, stick together as a squad or even communicate. I was recently trolled in a game by another SL for wanting them to build garries. Before Team 17 the player base was mostly exactly what the game was made for. Now it’s basically attracting BF and COD style players. I’m moving to Squad 44 because I hear so much more positivity about it. Such a shame for HLL and its core player base
well for 1 outfit u need to pay 3 dollars and in the new dlc you get 3 outfits for 12 dollars so its quite fair but i have to agree that using this on only 1 map is bad
they don't know they are effecting more than just the game I've made memories with great people in this game military history is my passion if this ends it will be very sad
I played Hell Let Loose regularly since 2020 and I gotta say the game fell off after the Soviet update in 2022. I feel the game peaked back then. The British update was underwhelming.
The Australian servers almost never have the British maps playing so a large chunk of the update basically could never have happened and nothing would be different.
The HLL maps in general are utter shit. The game is severely hamstrung due to the bad maps.
Maps aren't bad they're realistic. The maps are made by just looking at hella photos of a certain area and using satellite scans.

@@appllwithmemesif you think that, then you’re either not playing the game properly or your commander/ squad leader doesn’t know the fundamentals of the game. Setting garrisons/ OP’s. You can’t blame the game if you aren’t using the tools at your disposal…
Things they could do without any significant extra workstreams.
Change artillery to 10 munitions a shell, removing the need to have recon/artillery deadlock cycle. - means that you only fire it for a reason, and for short spells.
Remove silly nightmaps from rotation, - literally no point.
Add a few trenches to difficult maps - El Alemain, Driel, Foy.
Remove the pointless foliage from Mortain (boring bush simulator map with 100m max view makes strategy irrelevant).
Increase target damage of precision strike (reverse the nerf) so it guarantees a kill on impact - otherwise what's the point?!
Reduce skin cost to $4 for all assets.
Increase range of flame thrower by 30%.
Put a hard outline box on all capture sectors on warfare mode to remind people that that the whole 2x2 area is a capture zone.
Raise the camera height on the body so there's less headshots when in cover.
I think all those are fast fixes that will significantly help the flow and appeal of games, instead of them wasting time.

All of these changes would be good, but there's a couple things you have to look at.
1. The maps are designed to basically be as realistic and accurate as possible. There's only so much tweaking that can be done seeing that the maps are literally scans and shit of the actual battle sites.
2. The camera position thing just wouldnt feel right. Right now it feels like it's eye level. And having to be extra cautious on whether you're head is poking out or not is very realistic and adds to the whole immersion. And all that. Not sure if that change is really any good.
I came from battlefield. Skirmish mode is a decent blend from the few times I’ve played. Never in a full server mind you

PS5 player. For me, the reason I’ve stopped playing a bit was the fact it was the same maps again and again. Russian maps. You would jump for joy when you got a Normandy one. They also need to fix things like flamethrower distance. I don’t care about night maps. But hey, they are still better than playing on Kursk as Russians.
skirmish is not 25v25. It is 50 v 50. it is just a smaller map with one strongpoint.

So a game dev who’s only made games like overcooked and dredge(no hate on dredge it’s good) tries their hand at a FPS game, who could have thought it would have gone well.
I don’t play Hell let loose, Post Scriptum is mainly where I’ve gone due to it getting bought for me. Most of all I play Arma 3, multiplayer tends to not be my thing if I’m by myself so making editor missions in whatever time period works best for me. There are several mods that adds WW2 uniforms, GEAr and Forgotten Fronts being the best examples. They add essentially every variation of uniform for free while remaining high quality (by a game that came out in 2013 standards). I don’t mind customization DLCs but I think especially for a game like this paying to get SS camo and a customized US skin is ridiculous. Having a dlc for the reinforced version of the M42 paratrooper uniform is baffling even if it’s free now. IMO if they need to sell customizations for money it should be small details, not uniforms. Sell a customization bundle that gives you glasses, an iron cross, a grenade stuffed in your boot, a hat under your helmet, rolled sleeves, scarves, etc. The uniforms themselves should just be a part of the unit and time period you’re in. You shouldn’t really be able to choose it, because you wouldn’t have irl. Just make it your own like real soldiers would. I have seen videos of people using winter skins in the summer, idk if that’s changed again don’t play HLL but your team’s integrity shouldn’t be based on wether or not your teammates select the right skin or not in a milsim game.

He said "they have never done this before" in regards to a cosmetic DLC (that was - at the time of release - only applicable to 1/16 of the map) costing almost half of what the full game cost (before the T17 price hikes).
I played this game from beta in 2018 all the way till the British were released and i can safely say the game is EXACTLY what I kept telling my friend's it would become....a soulless WW2 cashgrab that DARES you to be stupid enough to buy cosmetics. The fact they're charging $50 now is unacceptable especially with the amount of bugs that have never been fixed. The biggest of all the bugs is glitch where if you're sprinting and mantle over a low fence or wall, your character does a weird stutter that prohibits movement. I tried to love this game but I just can't support the devs or publishers especially with how greedy Team17 has been. I wish all of you who still try to enjoy the game the best of luck.

Not even gonna lie i could look past all of this if they just added the ability to adjust graphics settings in xbox, i feel like the graphics have gotten worse to the point where I cant tell what anything is but during the free weekend on pc i was cooking and the graphics were great

Yes but when you like to be in more battles, then just a dark version of a map that you’ve played over and over again could also introduce different factions like Polish and French, I rather be able to be more than most into different parts of World War III history than just D-Day. I’m not saying that’s all the game is. It’s just with them adding night maps to battles that they’ve already done instead of trying to make new ones is just boring
