I was there. A very emotional moment at the time...and in retrospect too because it could have been Whitesnake's last concert (I hope not, for the Americans), now the tour is cancelled. Imagine that it was followed by Helloween. The best 2 hours and a half of my live experience.
I first saw Coverdale in 1990, first saw Vai in 1986 and first saw Tommy Aldridge in 1984. It's incredible that they're all still doing it live. Good for them.
I have to take my hats off to Tommy Aldridge, the guy is like 72 years old and keeps hitting those drums like a beast, the guy is like a drum machine, but David’s voice is shot, he can’t sing the high notes anymore…
He's old but he still puts forth a strong effort. At least he still sounds like David Coverdale and his voice hasn't completely flattened and lost its tone.
Absolutely. Pretty sure he eats an extremely healthy clean diet to have that kind of energy and longevity. Pretty sure you'll never find him at a McDonalds, etc.

and he is smiling like nothing has happened, just another cup of tea.
Yeah it happens.
Get it old.....but let's rock
My only comment other than the band is great, is Tommy Aldridge is just monstrous. Still kicking ass for a whole concert, right up to the last note.
He's old but he still puts forth a strong effort. At least he still sounds like David Coverdale and his voice hasn't completely flattened and lost its tone.
Tommy Aldridge is a MACHINE still, despite being approximately 350 years old
He's not just a drummer, he's a drumurderer! Even at his age, he's still gotta be one of the hardest hitting drummers I know of.
You just don't get that good in one mortal lifelime.
What’s crazy is both Coverdale and Tommy played at the 1974 Cal Jam. David with Purple obviously, and Tommy with Black Oak Arkansas. So long ago!
