Thank you Mr JD for sharing your wonderful stories of Granny Tollette, she sounds a lot like Great Aunt whom I loved dearly and sadly lost in 2010 at 32 days of being 105yrs old, I miss her every day as she raised me dad than helped him raise me, she taught me the old ways.
Stay blessed sir
thank you!
It wasn't just the church ladies drying their eyes. This is one of my favorites when you originally posted/broadcasted it so I was really happy to hear it again. Your granny had such wonderful memories ❤
thank you!
One of the first that I came across and from then on, I shared your channel like it was my own. Your stories bring back memories. Precious ones, sometimes, long forgotten. The music, your voice and the words blend well and take me back to my mother. I thank you kindly, Sir.
My Grandmother was awesome .She taught me how to fish and I went camping with her all the time. She raised me and my brothers and sisters after my mom died.
Amazing
You were truly blessed! ❤
Thank God for such a wonderful grandma
That first story is one of my favorites. That Sally Anne reminds me of my grandmother. That Appalachian woman was 5 feet of hell’s rage put fervently to the service of the Lord and her own sense of Justice. One needed to be right with the Lord so long as she walked the earth ‘cause he’d be the only force that could save you if you crossed her. I miss her and her stories so much.
❤️
Thank you, JD.
I'm thankful that Granny Tollette passed her stories down to you.
I never get tired of hearing them .
I enjoyed listening to each story.
God bless
Thank you Nonnie!
@@Nonniemaye we all would benefit from having a Granny Tollett

I agree with you.
Love hearing these stories,
I wish that I could have met
Granny Tollette.
❤️
Love ❤️ Granny! Takes me back to my Granny. She went to see the lord in 1978.
❤️
I never tire of hearing these stories. God Bless you & yours JD, much love❤
Thank you so much Diane, hope you are having a great week!
I just love your stories. You were blessed to have your Granny Tollett.❤
I miss her so much
I absolutely loved this story from Granny. I smiled the entire time I was listening. Thank you.
Thank you Leah!
I want a "Sally Ann " Tshirt. Love her and Granny's spunk and sweetness! Thank you!
she was a firecracker
I love your Granny’s stories. I wish my Granny would’ve lived long enough. My Granny died when she was 52 and I was 5. But I sure enjoy when my Daddy and his brother and 2 sisters are around to tell stories on each other and of their 3 brothers that have gone on I pray to be with the LORD & my Grandpa too. I know when I get to Paradise, Granny will tell me all those stories that she didn’t get to tell me about when I was younger. Thanks JD. Thanks for the memories. 👍🙏❤️🙏
Thank you for sharing Denise
My Granny lived to be 98. She died in 2012. We called her "Big Mama" although she didn't weigh 90 pounds. She was a POWERFUL woman of God. She held our family together, and after she died, our family has NEVER been the same. She would tell me stories about her life, and it wasn't a walk in the park. Granny endured a lot in life, but she gave more than she had. There wasn't standing room at her funeral because the entire community attended. JD, your stories remind me of my Granny, so PLEASE continue sharies with us. You be blessed Sir. ❤
I have a big mama too ♡
Lost mine many years ago, when I was only about 12. I think of her just about every day! I miss her sooo much. The description of your grannny sounds like History to me bc it was very much the same back then. ♥️
THIS is the 1st time I have listened to one of your stories. THAT was ALL it took I subscribed to the channel through TEARS.. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. I need to hear these stories. They are good for your SOUL.

First story, excellent, yet to hear the rest, but man was that an awesome story and a sermon in itself. The “let’s sing the tie that binds” puts a period on it for those who know.

😂 ❤ Granny! My granny has always been one of my favorite people, and she went to Jesus in 1984. Her mama was a Sally Ann and died when Granny was 5. Wish I’d have known her.
Everyone had a warm morning coal stove or a potbelly one in a place that just didn't make since to me at 5 years old
😊 Amen
Great channel. Thank you.

Have you ever strung beans to dry? When they were dry and then soaked for one day and then cooked. My tongue would slap my brains out!

JD i still wish you had a CD of stories you tell. I’ve never been much a feller to read books I just can’t get myself interested for some reason.
I think I sent you a free book
Hi from Ireland ☘️☘️
Hello from East Tennessee
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
👍🏻✌🏼😊
😢❤️
Thank you 😊
I have always had issue with what Paul said about women to Timothy. But then I know that was in a place where idols were worshipped. He also had praise for women who were decons in the church and women running a church from their homes
Paul should have been more clear.
Sallie Ann put him in his place
Was Granny working on beans or peas?
either butter beans or purple hull peas
Here we go. Tried to comment five times . But just find so many other problems with what we allow our young people to think and do. Guess I'm just to damn old
Hi Bill, I see your comment just fine. What's on your mind brother?
