How to create 'Typewriter Effect' in VSDC Free Video Editor?

Now couple of months back,a tutorial was uploaded in VSDC Video Editor's official CZcams channel,titled 'How to make a typewriter video effect in VSDC',(link is here :- • How to make a typewrit... ),where it is clearly shown how you can create the typewriter effect with just a couple of steps using the VSDC editor. But the problem there was that there was no cursor present. And so the typewriter effect kind of felt incomplete without the cursor. Thankfully in the latest update of the editor,a brand new option called 'Show cursor' has been introduced using which you can easily add a variety of cursors suiting your need. Question: How do you get rid of the fade in? (As is the text is transparent and fades in to be solid.)

Wow, thank you! Mostly I get ideas from seeing variety of different videos on CZcams itself. If I see something unique in any video,I mark down that video and try to do that effect in VSDC. That's how it has been for me for most of the times. Other than that,people in the comment section request me to do videos on different topics. That also gives me an idea of what my audience wants from me.

I think a version of both of them can be done,will have to check. Is an exact replica possible? Again will have to experiment and see how much of it can be achieved.
@@nextgenblogger sure bro..it would be great..I also wonder, is there a way to add a movement and zoom to the screen and bring it to the corner while the other video pops up on the screen..and then the other video fades out and bring the video at the corner as the main video
I have actually tried doing that in VSDC, the problem is I was not able to figure out how to get two videos on screen at the same time while the movement is happening. Its like I can push one video to the side while the other video comes in from the other side but zooming out the video while moving it on the side with the other video zooming in and coming in from the other side was just proving a little complicated to execute.
Is there a way to hold the last frame for a few seconds? For your example, the word typewriter would stay there for a few seconds before fading out.
You can easily do that by managing the duration of the text and the recoloring text effect. So if the duration of your text is 5 seconds and the duration of your recoloring text effect is 2 seconds,after the recoloring text effect ends,you will still have 3 seconds to hold your text on screen.

Can we slow down the typing speed in VSDC
Yes,you can slow down the typing speed. You need to adjust the duration of the recoloring text effect to increase or decrease the typing speed. So if you want to increase the speed,decrease the duration and if you want to decrease the speed,increase the duration of the recoloring text effect.

I want to enter and edit a long text.
But as soon as i paste that it sticks to one straight line...the problem is i need to figure out how to make that visible as a paragraph ..not as a single continuous line...
Click on the 'W' icon which is the wrap icon.
This icon is present on the right side of 'Strikethrough'.
Also on its right,you will find the 'Trimming mode' option where you need to select 'Word'.
from where do you download sound effects?
From CZcams only. Search for sound effects with a creative commons license,you will find dozens of videos related to this.
Why doesn't Text Effects show up on my ribbon?
You need to update your vsdc video editor to the latest version.
