Lol.... I love watching Sacktap too but top tier marvel is still exciting with the footsies, pressure strings, decision making, comebacks, etc. Not always about the character selection when it comes to excitement.

@@LoftyXsWaGX34 while I agree that not having enough character variety can be boring I still think there's a lot to be said for the huge shifts in momentum that occur in umvc3 due to poor assist calls, xfactor, etc. I understand though that many will still find watching top tiers boring. Personally, watching Morrigan Doom can often be boring but can be exciting when someone can manage to find the small gaps in the zoning to gain momentum. In terms of watching the game for 10 years, I would suggest looking up Gouken Respek, that's me lol 😆. I've been in the fgc since 2008 and have played both mvc3 and umvc3 since their inception. I also used to main She-hulk Storm and Ammy for several years before switching to Trish Doom Ammy so I definitely understand the appeal of the low/mid tiers and they are often fun to watch, as well as play.

I don't care that I started watching at 20, started enjoying at 30, and will look to enjoy the commentary at 40, Yipses on the mic will be my favorite of all time.
No modok or Phoenix shouldn’t surprise you. The work/reward balance for modok makes him somewhat of a useless pick. There’s no reason to pick Phoenix with all the zeros and vergils in this tournament because they easily counter her.
