Grand Dieu Sauve le Roi isn't a version of the british anthem, God Save the King, in fact, God Save the King is a variation of Grand Dieu Sauve le Roi, a small mistake but it makes all the difference, btw, great video.
If we are talking about the text, then yes, but the music is British.
@@rafexrafexowski4754 The music and the text, Grand Dieu Sauve le Roi was made to celebrate the recovery of Louis XIV after his anal fistula operation.
@@rafexrafexowski4754The melody of God save the queen is french 😂😂 :) your welcome
The anthem of the Paris Commune was actually the Internationale, not the Marseillaise of the Commune. It was originally sung to the tune of the Marseillaise, but the Marseillaise of the Commune was written after the Commune lost power in 1871.
Internationale was wrote to the theme of La Marseillaise but was changed in theme, also, it was written after The Commune permanently disintegrated.
@@RSjs25 The music for the Internationale was written in 1888, but the lyrics were written shortly before the Commune came to power in 1870.
@@RSjs25 Moreover, the Paris Commune still exists to this day. It is simply no longer in power.

Napoleone Buonaparte is his real name, from Corsica. His family originally from Tuscany fought with Pasquale Paoli against France. He changed is surname in Bonaparte because he was discriminated in France.
He learned french at the age of 9 and had a very strong Italian accent. He and his family were speaking Italian and married Italian nobility.
Average italian hater. All u said is not true. Made ur research. Bonaparte family was pro France and their house was attaqued bc of it. He had to make them come to Toulon. Corsica was given to france bc genova could handle it and give it to the only contry w power. France. AT Brienne Napoléon loved his contry, France, more then everything
@@maximiliendolisie6724 Study and try to answer. Think before you write.

Napoleone used France for what he wanted : Power .
Napoleone Buonaparte is his real name from Corsica.
His family originally from Tuscany fought with Pasquale Paoli against France. His father Carlo and him support the values and ideals of Paoli. Only when reached the pover left the ideals of Corsica for the unification of Europe under his power.
He was really proud of his Italian and Tuscan ancestors and he used to Say : "I am more Italian and Tuscan than Corso"He changed is surname in Bonaparte because he was discriminated and bullied in France because he was not considered french.
He learned French at Age of 9 and spoke French all his Life With a very strong Italian accent. He and his family were speaking Italian at home. His family moved to Italy and married Italian nobility.

French, you are not satisfied with having taken away everything that was dear to us, you have also corrupted our customs. The current situation of my homeland, and the impossibility of changing it, are therefore a new reason to flee a land where I am obliged by duty to praise men who by virtue I should instead hate. When I arrive in my land, what attitude to adopt, what language to use? When the homeland is no more, a good patriot must die. » (Corsica Napoleon Bonaparte, 1787)

Translate this letter was written by Napoleone.
(Napoleone Bonaparte, 1787)
He loved France and he was honored to be french. He wanted to be buried in Paris because without France he was nothing. France gave him Power and glory. But at the same time he was from Corsica and his family was from Tuscany. He was very proud of It. At home he was speaking Italian and corso with his family. Learned French when he was 9 years old. The First years in France for Napoleone were very difficult for lack of monay and more because His camerade were bulling him for His Italian accent and origins and considering him not french.
During these Years he was not really Happy to be in France......
For this reason changed his surname Buonaparte to a more French Bonaparte. His father Carlo and his mother fought with Pasquale Paoli. Napoleone never forgave his father when left the fought to give to his family peace and stability. (beautiful are the letters that Napoleone wrote to Paoli and viceversa during all his Life)
When in Italy went to the Village in Tuscany to visit the house and tomb of his family. The last letter that he wrote to his son was about to remember Who he was and his family (For Napoleon the family was the most importante institution ). His family moved to Italy and married Italian nobility. Say that Napoleone was French in my opinion Is reductive. There Is a public Napoleon the Emperor and a private Napoleon that was speaking Italian to his mother and Brothers and Corso with his nunny. Culturally his family was italian. We still consider Corsica Culturally italian. It Is like to Say that Garibaldi was french because he was Born in Nizza or Caterina de Medici was french because was the Queen of France....

What
why did they have to change the blue at the end? The brighter blue looked better in my opinion...🇫🇷
Well, Emmanuel Macron (Current French President) decided to change the blue in the french flag, cause it could bring back some memories of the French Revolution. (The flag was actually used in the revolution.) It'd also bring back Nostalgia, some people liked it, some people didn't really like the change of design. But it was Macron's choice
Only good thing Macron did was make it darker, because that’s the original flag. God knows why tf they made it bright
