Everything you have mentioned in this video. I have been implementing into my round the past 12 months.
Nothing worse than underpriced jobs. As you mentioned, you hate doing them each time you turn up.
Just stick them up £3 - £5. If they are not happy sack them off.
Another method I've used before is called "wanker tax" put shit jobs up so much they sack or your getting enough to out weight the thought of not wanting to clean it

I started a round of 180 £7 jobs all roughly £5 under priced 2 years back stuffed £2.50 on last feb and will still another £2.50 next feb lost 50 jobs in total but thats 2 days work less for roughly the same money, RIP THE PLASTER OFF

Hello mate I'm starting my own window cleaning business in August IV been watching all ur video s there very good IV been cleaning window for 20 years starting upon August and very believe that I can make it work I'm very confident and very good at the cavacing side IV been self employed so IV have a good work ethic got a good website been done and think a can really make a go of it got 4 kids and just want to make it work as I love cleaning window and am a people person just want some advice to see if u think it could work I live in essex and just want make work coz I love the job

Darran. I've got good question. What after all that I've ended up with only 3 or 4 houses on one street? Or maybe even less than that and I had to drive 5 min to the other one and another 3min to second. That will make less compacted round and what next?

How do you get on with moving old people on to gocardless, it's something I really struggle with
You have to quantify old, my mother is late 60s - to some that's old but she's all over her internet banking. My grandmother is 94 and thinks VHS is new fangled technology. you have to manage it case by case.
@@Darren-Green I do a lot of oap bungalows probably in there 80s and I find I have little to no chance of them signing up for gocardless
@@thewindowking7544 Yeah but in their 80s they are usually home or chasing you to make sure you are paid, they don't like to have the debt over them. Only you can decide how to balance your collections. For proper OAPs that are usually home I would not worry about it as I know I am getting paid on the day.

Usually just sack them off, if they do ever call up and ask why I don't do them anymore I will have a sincere in-depth conversation with them. If they are willing to fix the problems then I will sign them up again but this is very very rare.

i agree the positive effect it has dropping shitty jobs and arsehole customers really gives you a lift mentally nothing worse than arriving at a job that causes stress i had jobs that i dreaded going to which would cause me acid reflux and thats not good, i have 99% fantastic customers now and virtually no stress 😎 why fill your day doing under priced work it makes no sense getting home knackered with a poor wage to show for it... sack em all off i say 👍
Best advice I ever took, dump the dog shit cleans, jumping over that old washer or dodging dog poo no thanks.... I am currently having to deal with a patch warrior, all his customers keep asking me to come clean for them, because I work 12 months a year and clean the frames properly.... But this lout keeps coming up & being nasty to my customers, it's taking everything I have in me not to knock him out.... I know i should just ignore him... But bile that comes out this mans mouth JUST FLIPS MY FUSE AWESOME VID....
MrHoodedtop if patch warrior was any good he wouldn’t have to worry about you taking his work as good window cleaners tend to keep their work. Tell him to do one and crack on building your business mate 👍🏻

Just dump the awkward customers. Our jobs awkward as it is. Many more good jobs out there. Arguements? Unwilling or late to pay? Dog shit/dog trying to eat you, poor access to backs... walk on! I run a 2 strike system. 2 any of above. I leave them! Plenty more customers & good ones! Out there!
