    Heard them live several times I'm going to both Chicago shows. Expect AWESOMENESS!!! Also, go see Adam live solo.

      I thought about trying to catch one of the Chicago shows. I have a friend who lives a few hours outside of Chicago, but she wasn't able to work her schedule out to go to a show. I hope you have an amazing time!

    I fell in love with Queen in the 70’s when I first heard Killer Queen. The only time I was able to see them live was with Adam Lambert was in June, 2022 when the Rhapsody Tour resumed. Thinking it was my only chance to see them I flew to London just for the concert. I will be on the floor in Dallas in November!
    On the subject of Queen without Freddie. Brian and Roger were together in a band before Freddie. They are both great and I too love their solo work. My feelings are they are the original members of the band, fans love the music, they were all equal contributors, so why shouldn’t they continue the band.
    I found your channel this morning…I loved your video…looking forward to more.

      I forgot to mention…being in an arena (O2 in London) and hearing the entire audience singing Bohemian Rhapsody gave me chills.

      That is amazing! I couldn't even imagine seeing them at the O2 in London! I bet that was magical! I 100% agree with you! I love Brian and Roger's solo work and think they are very talented. Every original member of Queen contributed so much, I think they deserve the opportunity to continue with the band if they so choose. I am also so blessed that they have continued on because now I have this amazing opportunity to see two musicians I loved wholeheartedly. Thank you so much for stopping by!

    I'm going to the Nashville show also. This will be my 1st time seeing QAL live. Some of my earliest childhood memories are of listening to Queen and I remember watching Live Aid. My mom always said I loved them from the day I was born. I was not old enough to see the original line up live. I did see Queen with Paul Rodgers, but it was not really my favorite. I discovered QAL during lockdown in 2020 with the release of Live Around the World and fell in love with Adam Lambert. I am so excited to finally hear his voice live as they say he is even better than the videos. I hope to see one of his solo concerts someday too.

      That is awesome! I have loved Queen since I was a child. It is so exciting to finally be able to catch one of their shows. I like you never had the chance to see Freddie live, and that is sad, but I'm glad Brian and Roger still love to tour. I would love to see one of Adam's solo shows as well. I loved his solo work when I was in middle school and high school.

    Spike is still there. Tyler and Neil have been there for ages. It’s a tight live outfit. They all sing well in their own rights so harmonies are great. I haven’t seen adam live solo but have seen queen with Adam live (not freddie). I have seen Adam solo live quite a few times via livestream though (both covid no audience shows and more recent with audience). He always puts in something he hasn’t done before. Can’t let you go live was awesome. Hearing a loaded smile again recently was cool.....as was the clip someone did putting two live clips of that song together (past and present)

      I agree, with a lot of the live footage I've seen around on the internet they put on a great show. But I'm sure it will be even more amazing and mesmerizing seeing it in person.

    Hi Marichen! I love your enthusiasm! I am going on both nights of their two night engagement here in San Francisco, also in October. Like you, very excited! Unlike you, however, I have actually seen them about 3 or 4 times. Let me tell you, you are in for a huge treat! They put on such an entertaining show, beyond what you might imagine. Always a huge production. And Adam's voice is just amazing! As much as I love his solo stuff, and I have it all, I happen to think that Adam does his best work when he's with Queen. And I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to see them when they had their mini residency at the MGM Park Hotel in Las Vegas which was before the pandemic, I think maybe 2018, if memory serves. It was really maybe the best concert I've ever been to! You are going to have the time of your life... Enjoy!

      Thank you! I bet that will be awesome! I thought about trying to get tickets to another show when they announced a few more dates, but I just couldn't work it out with my schedule. I'm sure you will have an amazing time at both shoes! I cannot wait to see them!

    I've been a Queen fan since 1991 and the argument of Queen isn't valid without Freddie, for me at least I don't get it. After going through most of the 90's without new Queen music and no tours of course, I'm thrilled to have the boys back on the road. I like having Adam singing than I was with Paul Rodgers. Paul is a great singer, but I think his voice doesn't fit the Queen material, where I think Adam's does.

    • @marichensmusic
      @marichensmusic  Před rokem +1

      I agree with that! I don't understand how people can say that Queen isn't valid without Freddie. I am glad they are still touring so I have the opportunity to see them.

    Lots of things to think of with seats in big venues....sound vs view, how much you can stand up vs sitting etc

      @marichensmusic  Před rokem

      I agree. The Nashville venue is large, but definitely not as large as other venue's I've been too. Thankfully I'm still young and shouldn't have a problem being on my feet all night.

    6 million fans has going to their tours. Adam was just amazing and for me is much better singer live than Freddie. Each song is outstanding. You are going to sing, to cry, to laugh and they put out a concert that is going to be the best concert you are going in all your live. Just enjoy.

    Hi from New Zealand, I saw Queen here in 1986...I've seen Adam in a solo concert and Q+AL 4 times in NZ and Australia. I love both versions but the voices are so different that for me it's hard to compare. Adam is a fantastic live performer and the original lineup was so long ago.....

    • @jukip1485
      @jukip1485 Před rokem +3

      That’s why I like it. The voices are different. Both good but different. I wouldn’t like it if Adam was like freddie

    • @marichensmusic
      @marichensmusic  Před rokem

      Exactly! I feel like it's hard to compare them when they are different performers and people. I'm just happy that Queen is still touring and that I am able to have the opportunity to see them. I would have loved to have seen Freddie with the band, but unfortunately I wasn't even born before he passed. So it's just amazing that I still have the chance to see Brian and Roger perform the music I love live!
