In America, always call police first. Don't move car.never give your information to other driver unless is yr fault. Insurance Co first ask police report. Police decides who's fault. They drove the design of both car in the report . And attached with car Vin number and report to mototor Vehicle Dept. When someone buy used car and run Vin number that's way you find this car has accidents or not.
Here police won’t come if there is no injury.. we called the police when somebody hit my car n police said to just exchange info..I guess things work differently in both countries

A very realistic situation that I connect with. Myself being booked by the cops several times, had to undergo defensive driving classes. As a result I always stop at yellow light. This doesn't guarantees protection from rouge drivers but still I think it's safer. Also, I personally like the idea of an electric lawn mower as these are lighter, quieter and requires less maintenance. 'Good day!

So sorry you got into a car accident. Just to let you know in Ontario if you are found not at fault for a car accident, you do not pay for the rental coverage. That rental coverage that you'll get is for when you are considered at fault. To expedite the repair process try and go to an authorized Body Shop which is different than a dealership because a body shop is about the repair of the structure of your vehicle. Think of body shops as the construction of your home and think of the dealership as ones that are more involved in the mechanics of your car which is like the plumbing of your home. Good luck and get the appraiser to appraise the vehicle either virtually through pictures or you can take it into a body shop and they can take the pictures for you and upload it.

Just a tip these body repair shops these days will delay your work. Just keep in touch with the sourcing managers of the dealership and do not rely on these people to source your damaged part. I had one of the worst experience last year and my car took 7 months to get repaired.
