Hi Toby, thanks a lot for the great value. Would you just upload the podcast clips without any editing until you are in the CPB? What if you dont get accepted cause you dont have original content?
Glad it helped! You don’t have to edit the clips loads prior to CPB but you would at least want to add subtitles. The original content rule only applies once you’re in the CPB.

Question for you. once I get the 10k followers for CPB do i get Paid for the past videos if they meet the original content rule, or does it just start monetizing from the minute you get approved? and only counts from that point on?
Great Question! Only videos posted after you join the CPB will be monetized. There is however, a few day period where your "dashboard" is generated where you wont be able to see any data but the videos will still be monetized.

3:14 you don't need to have capcut pro, when you finished the video just compound everything and then export it, it won't ask to join pro

It is defined as original as it’s edited in an “original” way. Hope that clears it up

If you are part of the creativity program beta just like me, your vids will be considered as ''unoriginal content''. This can cause you to get a lot of strikes, which again leads to leaving the program.
