#Daily Drum Exercises or EDB is a 52-week study plan and each week we'll cover a different style.
This week, we start studying #Swing, which is one of the earliest manifestations of #Jazz. There are some important aspects to capturing the dynamics of the style. First, work on the feathering of the bass drum, which is the practice of playing the bass drum softly in a #Groove. Think of the kick drum as a texture rather than a high-volume component like in #Rock. This can be a challenge when you're starting to play this #style. Secondly, the pattern of the ride and the kick drum are important so that the feeling is conveyed in a relaxed and "Swingy" way. It's very important to listen to audio examples and other drummers to understand this style and how to approach playing the set.

Ok Sandro excelente el estilo de Jazz Swing para practicar teniendo en cuenta el plato (ride) en tresillos ,el bombo golpear suave (feathering) el hi hat en tiempos 2 y 4 y el acompañamiento de caja para el (comping) etc .Ahora escucho las canciones todas por los famosos bateristas. Muchas gracia una vez mas, magnifico programa y muy buen trabajo.
