I like the work you’ve put into it, especially the lights and steel frt & rear bumpers. Please throw away the recover shackles from HF and put some Crosby shackles on it. It’ll look much cooler and ACTUALLY have the tested load capacity needed. HF are made cheaply and could snap and kill someone. I use Crosby shackles in construction everyday; 4 3/4 ton all the way up to 25 ton shackles. A pair of 6 1/2 ton would work well for you. 👍😊

@@01Trdtundra My sister bought it new in 2002 from the dealer, then I bought it from her in 2015 it only had 24,000 miles on it. It was her baby, it was super clean. I had it until this past september, I got a new 23 Tacoma and sold it to a friend of mine. He loves it, it all worked out and it is in a good home. I used to work at toyota, my mechanic friends there all wanted to buy it from me, they were telling me as long as you do your routine maintenance they will last 400,000 miles easily. Yours will be strong for a long time, looks badass man. 👍🏼

Brute Force Fab. Clovis CA.. down by Fresno. They mfr bolt on bumpers for 1st gen Tundras. I got the basic rear bumper and mounted two square , White Baja Designs lights into it.

yeah she does have her limits and the v8 4x4 version would be so much better but I still love this truck, got some more mods planned
I had Bilstein 5112's with the stock, Toyota OEM springs on the front when I added my front steel bumper/winch. They lasted about 3 months. I just put on a set of Bilstein 6112's with heavier springs. Heavier front bumper, you probably will need to upgrade.

You should see my 04 Tundra Overlander build bro! Steel bumpers front and back with a 10 K lb winch . 3 1/2" lift, I have those same Camburg uppers with Bilstein 6112's. Bumpers from Brute Force MFG in Clovis CA. Bolt on. A GFC tent/shell. Dude, you are on the way!

Mine has a cheap leveling kit and hate the ride … think cheap Monroe shocks … since only 2wd want something better but nothing too expensive like icon , king or Fox
Wondering if I should go with Eibach or Billstein set up .
ah man yeah this truck is amazing but im surprised you said that because I feel like I see a lot more V8s and 4x4s. But yeah Im running the eibach pro stage 1 lift kit, its pretty good like you said nothing really comparable with kings or fox
Watch the gap between the windshield and the roof. A common place old Tundras can rust.
Going to 35's is a huge step up. The Camburg bolt on long travel lower control arm kit is like $7K.
Then regearing. Bigger tires? Bigger brakes. Bigger tires and rims.. Looking at 10K to make that jump. I want to do it too,,,
its expensive but man the travel, breaking power, comfortability, and even looks I think justifies the money
You should put a rear locker and a winch.And a prinsu roofrack
I plan to regear, and add a locker, the winch is something I do wanna get but later in the future, and the roof rack would also be really cool but I need to spend on other upgrades first 🤙

hopefully you see this but where did you get that set up for your kickers in the back seat?? my dad was going around looking at places and they said it wasnt possible .__. and also can you put the bench down or do they have to stay up now??
The actual box is from cruthfield but I know they have it on Amazon too, I think it’s only for ac tundras, you can put the bench down I usually leave it up to have space for things but I just recently took the rear seats out to save weight and I don’t usually carry anyone back there

running the eibach pro stage 1 lift kit, so 3 inches in the front and just have an add a leaf in the rear so 3 inches all around

I honestly don't remember, I just searched radio antenna on amazon and its a generic brand and universal fit. I originally was going for the bullet one but I opted out for the this one instead.

It's 2wd/ rwd.
All of your efforts are simply for aesthetics. Without 4x4, you can not confidently overland or go wheeling, sell this & buy a 4wd. I made the same mistake when I was younger.
Ive definitely been humbled by the 2wd already but still won’t keep me from going wheeling, I will end up trading or buying a 4x4 sometime in the future
When you sink thousands into modding a 2wd truck just to lose out to a stock 4wd.
Big facts, currently on the lookout for the v8 4x4 ac tundras didn’t know much about mods and importance of 4x4 so this was a big learning and costly mistake 😂
