I have this unit and you DO NOT have to use their mic. The stock one still works fine.

It’s not necessary to be working. Screen is still suitable.
My original screens keep restarting and don't load, which may be due to DCU or other fault, so if I buy this large screen, will it work with any dependencies on the old equipment?@NiftyCity

Both of my screens recently went out but the top one only turn on when the back up camera is activated would it still work?

Same exact thing with mines. Both went out. My standard/snow/sport drive button doesn’t work, and no radio. Heat still works although I have no way of seeing what temperature or volume I have it on so I have to wing it. Back up camera is the only time anything with the screen works. I was wondering did I have to buy a new CPU before buying this radio?
