- This week we put the money out. A customer comes into the shop and we loan the most money on an item that we have ever given out in the five years we have been opened for business. What he gets a loan on is well worth the money though. After that, we stick to our roots and hit some yard sales where we find vintage Nintendo games and Super Nintendo consoles. Lastly, we don't stick gold at a yard sale but we do stick silver for $2 at a local garage sale you won't believe what it is worth. Thanks to all of the vets who have served us all....My father was a Vietnam vet that went through HELL over there.....he would never even talk about it because it was such a horrible experience....now that I am older and have watched some documentaries and other videos with Vietnam vets speaking about their experiences, I can understand why he never talked about it.....much respect to all vets, especially those that have been through HELL

You should add a Kee tester to your gold checking process. Scratching is still the only sure test but thats a good step to do beforehand.

Anytime I stop at a yard sale, I look for that kind of stuff cause you know me, there's no cure for my Silver itch and I have to scratch it when i can afford it. LOL. Another great video. I bought two silver candelabras last week at an estate sale for 100 dollars took them to my Gold guy and he said they're more trouble than their worth. He said alot of the different parts had the Clay in them. He ended up giving me 90 dollars for them so driving to the estate sale early to get my name on the list and driving 45 minutes to the sale and back only cost me 10 dollars. What a great day 😂.
