CIRQUE ROYALE MAHY

End 80's we tracked down some exceptional car collectors. Mr. Guillame Mahy was one of them who were subject of a reportage in our weekly car show "Vroemtuigen" (VTM-Flemish Commercial Television). Mr Mahy was the founder of the legendary Mahy Collection that consists of more than 1000 cars.

To whom it may concern,
I am looking for my fathers’ (Charles Friday) Bugatti’s, a type 40 (659 AH 17) and a type 44 (427 BQ 79) that were sold in Charente-Maritime near La Rochelle in late 1968 or early 1969. He bought them around 1957 but I have no record of who they were sold to and am hoping that they will turn up somewhere. There was also a complete motor from a type 46 I think. Maybe you have them in your collection ‘to be restored or used for parts’ in the back room? Je parle Francais mais l’ortographe me manque depuis 50 ans. Merci en avance..Phil Friday (Virginia, USA)
