Hugo, I used to worry about posting vids without catching fish. What I quickly learned is that your subs are interested in your journey... not the result. Some of my best performing vids I don't catch a fish. That's fishing... tight lines mate... keep keeping it 'reel'
Hey Matt , that is definitely true and something I am working towards , the adventure is half of the story and fish are just a bonus . With the fishing being tricky this winter I am thinking of posting up some adventure videos even if I don’t catch anything . Cheers for stopping in mate tight lines 🤙

And ya spot on . The fishing has been hard . However the mullaway are makin their way up to Parra , a fisho mate caught a 60cm specimen last Sunday. 👍

That slingshot technique is whats called pitching, where you hold the lure in one hand.

Salt has definitely been tough, i decided to chase trout for a bit, hopefully the salt picks up in a few days, without so much rain about.
The bloody dredded flatty barb, is never fun...

Fished that spot last week….. 7 flatties up to 62cm and a salmon at 53cm….. but yeah its been tough at the usual haunts mate👍🏼🎣

Feel the pain been out a few times at the hawksbury in my boat and the water quality from the rain is terrible bites have been super slow and working hard for nothing hopefully weather starts getting better from now on

Hey Tom cheers for watching mate ! If your reel is a shimano make sure to give it a light shower after every session to make sure the salt is off , shimano reels will last u a life time of treated correctly , on the other hand of it is a Daiwa it’s best not to do anything as they will break on there own anyway 🤣🤣

Hey mate , for kings I like to throw jerkshads or sluggos around structure when I’m fishing landbased , saying this i have found that this season it hasn’t been too good for landbased kings as they have mostly been chilling on wrecks or markers , saying this get out there and throw some sluggos , shore jigs and metals and you definitely have a chance !!
