Uddhav thakrey government ne land acquired karne nahi diya central government ko isliye delayed ho gya tha jab eknath sinde government aayi tab waha land acquired kiya central ne, isliye abhi sirf pillars hue hai Maharashtra mai upar wala part hua nahi. 2026-27 mai complete ho jayega and 2024-25 ko Gujarat mai bullet train start ho jayengi.

    Land acquisition should be started on other routes. Actually DPR of Delhi-Varansi section was rejected due to many curves, Soon new dpr will be submitted.

    4:06 Guys, this one footage is really interesting.
    On the banks of Mahi River, we can see Delhi Mumbai Expressway, along with Toll Plaza Raika, which is literal metres away from MAHSR crossing with expressway.
    You can check yourself on Google maps/ earth.

      At Naramada River, near Bharuch u can see DM-Expressway, MAHSR and even WDFC

      The Horizontal distance of MAHSR with DME (on banks of Narmada) is approx 1.4 km and the same of MAHSR with WDFC is 1.05 km.

    Please show the data like how many kms of Pier work has been done, How many kms have girders set up and so on. This way we will be able to track the progress by month. The video doesn't give any information on current status of the project, just shows that work is in progress.

      Okay, I will try to give you the latest September 2023 data of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed rail corridor project. According to the web search results, the project is an under-construction high-speed rail line that will connect Mumbai and Ahmedabad with a bullet train service. The project is expected to cost Rs. 1.1 lakh crore and will be funded by the governments of India, Japan, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. The project will have 12 stations and will operate at a speed of 320 kmph. The project was inaugurated in 2017 and was supposed to be completed by 2023, but it has faced delays due to land acquisition issues and the COVID-19 pandemic. As of September 2023, the latest data available for the project are:
      - The overall physical progress of the project was 28.67%, with Gujarat completing 39.21% and Maharashtra completing 15.84% of their respective work. ¹
      - The total length of the corridor is 508.17 km, out of which 337.67 km is under construction, which is about 66.44% of the total length. ²
      - The longest girder ever fabricated or manufactured in India, measuring 130 meters long, 21 meters tall and 13 meters wide, was assembled by Zetwerk on a subcontract from Larsen & Toubro - IHI Infrastructure Systems for the project. The girder weighs 3000 MT and will be used for a bridge over the Ulhas River in Thane District. ³

    Amazing progress in Gujrat. It's our bad luck that alliance led by other parties were ruling in the Maharashtra they only hindered the development of the nation. I hope people will understand from this example and do not commit such mistake in upcoming elections. We need development other than anything.

      You need to understand why Maharashtra (udhav gov) opposed this project. It is because there is only 2,3 stations which is going to be built in Mumbai and that too have only few kilometres rail line. It is nowhere going to benefit Maharashtra (Mumbai) people. It is only going to benefit gujrat people. It just more like a gujrat bullet train.there are very less people who travels from mumbai to gujrat So that's why gov opposed it.

    Delhi -Ahmedabad is the highest priority corridor , train cannot terminate at Sabarmati. To get maximum output of the line Delhi -Mumbai connection is required not just mumbai ahmedabad

      You can check High speed rail India Wikipedia page for detailed future plans, so Mumbai-Ahmedabad route is part of Delhi Mumbai route and was found to be the most feasible route even in studies dating back to 2008

      As of a couple of months ago, I think land acquisition itself is not complete in M'rashtra.
      And the work for the underground tunnel from Mumbai is in its very initial stages.
      Gujarat section might open in late 2026. And the full length in 2028 or early 2029.

      and by then the older Shinkansen will become obsolete
      so they don't want to get the old tech and instead focus on buying the new series

      Deal is already signed. Japan has already confirmed production has started. Rolling stock will be mostly imported directly and maybe at best some parts will be assembled in India. There will be zero issues in quality and time for rolling stock like this

      @@adityasethia61 Shinkansen will not be obsolete in 5 years. Japan themselves were using their E4 models from 1997 to 2012, 15 years. India is getting the E5 model, the tech it will come with is already made in the deal. It won't change to newer versions, it will the the current tech version only made in the deal. The latest version is N700 and it is Japan's exclusive model, they won''t be selling that to other countries until they make their next version which will be years later. Besides the top speed diff is only 15km between E5 and N700, the N700 is mostly slight improvement of E5 in terms of comfort. The E5 is already super comfortable and will last Japan and India around 15 years at least. Idk where you got this 5 years obsolete number from? HSR trains are not iphones. Btw we're not taking about maglev trains, they are completely different from regular hsr trains. Because technically Japan's lastest train model is their maglev line which won't even be deployed until 2027. Rest assured India is getting an excellent technology transfer deal with this, the goal for India should be to eventually make our own HSR trains after the transfer.

    For those satisfied with the Indonesia 150 km vs India 508 km HRS comparison, here is something not so satisfying:
    CHINA: Start HSR in 2004. 6 years later (2010), there are 6000 km new HSR in services.
    INDIA: Start HSR in 2017. 6 years later (2022), there are 0 km in service.

    Bengaluru to Hyderabad will not be that useful because there is no big cities in between. Mysore-Benagluru-Chennai might be very useful. Same for Delhi to Howrah (So many big cities in between). But Ahmedabad-Mumbai route is the most ideal for the first bullet train. It is connecting 6 big cities within just 500kms of mostly flat land.

      Mumbai will construct 20km of underground tunnels using the shield method.
      The reason is to protect the environment without destroying the natural park east.
      I don't think they will make a video of the construction of the shield tunnel because I don't think it would attract much interest even if they showed it.

      I think land acquisition itself is not complete in M'rashtra.
      And the work for the underground tunnel from Mumbai is in its very initial stages.
      Gujarat section might open in late 2026. And the full length in 2028 or early 2029.

And 700km one is future project no formal deal is signed now. Also after deal is signed it will take time to land acquisition, dpr preparation, shifting, funding etc. Then only construction will start easily going to take 10 years to complete.

      P = MV , where P stands for momentum , V for velocity , M for mass .
      A massive object with very high velocity will have very high momentum .
      This is why a bird strikes on Airplanes can create a hole or even crash a plane . This is why Vandebharat express when it hits cattle , it has frontal damage .
      Latest trains are made of aluminium to have a light body which reduces the drag and results in faster velocity . Even a small goat at the speed of 320kmph can overthrow the entire bullet train off the track due to very high momentum generated .
      Second reason is ... curves , a fast moving train on 320kmph will generate very high centrifugal force which can throw it off the track . They need tracks in straight line with very low degree curve .
      For this same reason Vandebharat express despite the capacity upto 180kmph runs under 100kmph on tracks bcoz majority of indian tracks have many curves and not so straight pathway . These tracks were not designed for high speed train. Until there is a complete realignment of rail track they won't achieve the highest speed .
      Third reason ....railway tracks overtime start depressing due to heavy load ...if the soul below is very soft . Rain , weather conditions can create such depression easily . It's manageable for low speed trains but at 320 KMPH , even a slight depression of few cm on track will overthrow the train from the track .
      That is for climate , soil conditions like India via a duct based system are safest , efficient , long lasting and less maintenance prone ...which will allow longer capacity .

      If you compare it on trails E5 series is faster and safe Chinese Indonesia train is not fully elevated.. but indian is 92% elevated and 8% tunnel and also route is 5 times bigger .
