Just an FYI, VA is not fully open, we still have to wear masks. I was shocked that your entire family went into doctor appointments. Here in VA only one parent can go into an appt, even if it is something like surgery, and no siblings.
That's so true omg. I went to the hospital yesterday with my mom and my family aka my dad and sister tried to join but they only said one parent at a time

The way all 3 of the kids have stuff going on at the same time and you guys are just so calm about it 😌 I love it but I hope they are all happy and healthy and healed quickly!

I had a tear with my rentinal and I have very similar symptoms! It happens to a lot of people and they just keep watch over the next few visits. I see floaters and lights at times. I hope you get more answers!

welcome to VB💙 the oceanfront is a heavy tourist area and the waves can be kinda rough especially with kids. chic's beach is my fav local beach and is not as crowded. and sandbridge is also another great beach too. I wish you and your family the best!!
Chics beach is fantastic and safe for kids I wouldn’t recommend oceanfront for kids it can get loud and crazy towards night fall

Ahh how much longer are you here? Such a great place for families, especially in the summer!!! Chicks beach or east beach are best for the little kids! Park near the McDonald’s for chicks or there’s lots of street parking off 25th Bay Street for East Beach!

My dad was having eye problems late last yr/early this yr and what you said could happen to Jet actually happened to him. His retina detached and he had to have surgery that same day. It was also because of that jelly thing or w.e so I hope Jet doesn’t have that. Also if I remember correctly, the doctor said that could’ve happened because it’s genetic so maybe ask your family if they’ve had eye problems.

Welcome to Va Beach, insider tip, if you haven’t found out already, avoid the “strip” if you want a peaceful oceanfront experience. The beach around 52nd street and higher are where the locals hangout to avoid the tourist. Also the street parking is free, unlike the strip.
The strip in fine during the day for the most part...it's just college week that you should probably skip

That’s a complete fallacy. I raised my family in VB. Lived there from the early 90s, and had a child in the public school system continuously until 2012, when I yanked my high achieving youngest out after catching a teacher and the principal colluding in a lie. Had to get the Asst Superintendent to retrieve security cam footage to do it, but the proof was appalling. That was the final straw. 20 plus years of dumbing down curriculum, redistricting to fudge ratings and test scores, and hyper politicization and partisanship of the school board. The current public safety climate is abysmal. Gone are the days of after dinner bike rides on the boardwalk because of gun violence. The racial climate is horrible- the city has a disparity problem that is nearly criminal. Look up the recent court ruling about the city’s voting system . Look up how long some of the city council members have been sitting. Look at the corruption between the tourism operators and city government . Move to Currituck NC. WAYYYYYY better schools, services, and quality of life. Feel free to reach out to me for more facts, verifications, and info.

There’s a lot of good jobs here it just depends on wat type of job you’re looking for & if you’re looking for a summer job the strip on the beach has a lot of seasonal summer jobs !!
