Isn't it amazing to see that sea of Orange? I remember when in 1988 Netherlands won the European Championship the capital Amsterdam also went wild, in orange, and I danced all night in the city on top of the house boat roofs with all sorts of people! Then, 1994 when Netherlands tennis team played Davis Cup vs USA 1/4 final it was very orange too on the stands. Oh yes, watch the footage of Formula 1 recent years in our home race Zandvoort. 2023 is an amazing example! Not only there, but there's always a huge orange crowd on other circuits all over the world to support Verstappen and.. to party.

Our King's last name is Orange. When we have a big sports event, such as EK, European soccer (voetbal), then we have Orange clothes, much orange things to wear. That is by Max Verstappen too. Or by Ice skating. But we weare orange when the king have his birthday on the 27th of april. He is going to celebrate his birthday somewere in the country with his wife, 3 daughters, his brother and his wife, and his nephews and there wifes. When that comes on television the whole of the Netherlands celebrates his birthday and we were a lot of orange things. The Lion, belongs to/by the king in his coat of arms... When there is something special to do here in the Netherlands you see a lot of red, white and blue and a lot of orange...
