ref should have stopped it after the 1st knockdown as eubank jr was still on queer street when the ref irresponsibly sent him back in.
@@cylok2871 i think the ref should of stopped it at the first aswell but the second knockdown he was actually still recovering well and was stable so shouldnt of been stopped, hard to ref as stopping it that early could be controversial

This is how to sell a fight. Go right inside the minds & the stakes of the bout. The problem was Chris thinks it was a lucky "perfect" punch. He should be going in there thinking it can happen EVERY time. And become much more defensively responsible. Smith kept a tight guard the whole time giving Chris the respect he deserved as puncher. That was the difference.
If he doesn’t learn there is a decent chance of it happening again. I pick Smith for the rematch right now from what I’ve seen.

Groves felt sorry for eubank at the end, eubank was basically on his own v smiths brothers and the entire crowd, i hope eubank wins the rematch and his dad gets involved again, he needs him.

There was no elbow, chris got cornered, ate a right hand to the temple that buzzed him, then ate a left uppercut and left hook that put him down. Elbows tend to leave cuts, and chris had none. Like Roy, his defence on the ropes was terrible and it cost him this fight

Interesting fight. I agree with Liam though when he said he can't accept loosing to Chris. Perfect words. Perfect training. Perfect intensity. I was really impressed with Liam. Chris left all dissapointed and shouldn't of blown his own trumpet so hard about his chin. If any fighter was mote than capable of breaking that Perfect chin he once had once opon a time😊 Liam Smith sure did. Hopefully now he will take the fight more seriously and give Liam the respect he deserves👍

Smith has a real boxing pedigree and fought the best, Eubanks has a name and that's why it'll be the same outcome.
You can tell Groves sees a bit of himself in Eubank. Both were disliked by the majority because of their hype game and both operated essentially on their own without the entourage circus that follows guys like Froch and the Smiths.

Eubank needs to throw the jab and out work smith, work the body punches and slow Smith down and then rally late. Otherwise could be same outcome.
I was truly surprised how outclassed Smith was, until the whole thing turned over.
This time Eubank Jnr will do everything possible to avoid being caught in a corner and KOd again, but later on in the fight, Smith will get him again.

Chris needs to get in the gym and bulk up a bit.. some added weight may slow him down a bit but it would put more power behind his punch.. I remember thinking it while watching their first fight.. liam smith is a brilliant boxer and can never be underestimated. You can see in his eyes he has the fighting spirit..

Eubank will be victorious. He was clearly winning the fight and got caught. Not taking anything away from Liam cos he finished the fight well but I think Eubank wins the rematch. Just my opinion ofc.
Here we are again. Remember the first behind the ropes? Full of casuals saying Eubank was in liams head. Because he said he was gonna cook Liam like a steak 😂😂 real ones knew liams pedigree and experience could well prove too much. Same result again although a better Eubank as he has nothing to lose now only gain.
The Smith family are unbelievable, in 100 years they will still be talked about in boxing. Eubank jnr has a job on his hands. He CANNOT afford to lose. This fight could be one of the greatest fights ever, or it could be an anticlimax with Smith winning inside 8 rounds. I can’t wait.

Smith in my view is slight favourite to win the rematch however you cannot rule Eubank out, be interesting to see how he comes back after being dropped and stopped for the 1st time.

I’m excited for this rematch. It’s intriguing at the very least. But I think we’re going to get the same outcome just slightly later. Smith KO 9. I just don’t see how Eubank can turn this around. Especially now that chins been cracked.
