How to change DNS Settings on your TP-Link Router (older models)

  • Router configuration page can be accessed at the default router IP address of 192.168.0.1 or tplinkwifi.net (for models with the newer TP-Link logo).

    Thanks you fixed my issue, there was another dns settings in lan settings and wasn't working with me, but now all my devices are with google dns 💖💖

    Nice Job! the GUI on my Mesh setup is almost too basic, I couldn't find the admin settings

      If you have a TP-Link Deco system, only certain monitoring and advanced configuration settings are available in the Web GUI (tplinkdeco.net). You might want to refer to this article to learn how to change the DNS Settings of your Deco system through the Deco app: www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1855/

    i have green ui but in wan settings i dont have a mark dns

    I don’t have the ‘internet’ tab within the network drop down list, why?

      You won't see this tab if your wireless router isn't in Router Mode. You can use your router's Operation Mode menu to change the mode.
