Thanks for the video. Unfortunately, I was never told about this and lost my code. And now, after 3 years of driving my Xmax, the FOB key is acting up, such as not always activating the ignition switch and sometimes the orange key light comes on and flashes while my driving, despite the key being literally in my pocket while driving, luckily it never turns off the bike while I'm driving... but still. I've heard these things are also a pain in the ass to replace, the bike still runs fine, but these keys are really the biggest weakness in it. Someone said it may just be the battery, which I'm not sure is replaceable, if it is then no biggie. But if not I guess I'm fucked. Any advice?
Can you put up a video on how to start this bike being you can’t get to the battery, very easy, with adding an additional cable for a jumper box or something anybody can help
If you mean the 6 digit number to start the engine, it is on a tag that comes with the FOB key. Lose that and are you are SOL. But you can buy a new key.
Glad I saw this, and thanks for sharing. I always like having a backup, but it would be even better if it allowed you to then choose your own code.
Very Smart of Yamaha!
Great. Dealership never gave me my code card. Nothing can be easy I guess.
use the last 4 win numbers
@@valmirzeqiri6544does the code consist of only 4 last digits of a vin number? This would make it very easy to steal!!

First replace the battery, a video shows how.

The battery is easy to get to but you need a jumper cable with very small clips to latch onto the terminals.
Do you know, where I can find a motor number?
