- 2:46 Coyote attacked by a group of raccoons!!
0:48 Coyote and Opossum
The coyote runs the opossum off. Notice that the opossum wasn't killed by the coyote the opossum just ran off. The opossum returns for more just as the coyote does when he gets ran off by the raccoon.
Possum, raccoon, fox, coyote....oh they look cute and cuddly but all can be mean af!
And armadillos
Now that is amazing never saw that before
9:02 tf is that thing lol looks like a lemur mixed with a fox
It is a grey fox. I love how he puts his tail up to look big.
These raccoons got Thug Life
#Worldstar
Very cool looking animals! The fox looks half cat!
I love watching the foxes.
the coyote at the start is smart going round than attacking that opposum from behind but also oppossums are tough standing off against the big predator
Yeah, but the coyote tried it again and again, the 'possum fell for it!
Opossums aren't tough its just they move so slow tht they usually don't try to run and they go into a trans where they freeze up and don't move
@@lawrencehamilton7021 That's what I believed more than 50 years, but I now have opossums coming inside, they're wild, long story, and I have discovered they can move pretty fast when they really want to. They're fond of catfood, and I now must keep oatmeal in tamper-proof containers.
@@kathryngeeslin9509 they can have short burst of speed when startled but they are not very fast at all, if you are observing an opossum and its near an escape and you startle it it may seem like the opossum took off but try chasing an opossum tht has no dense vegetation to hide in, no nearby tree to climb, a fence to squeeze through or a porch to hide under you will be shocked like "is this really as fast as this thing can go?" Lol
@@lawrencehamilton7021 That's kind of what I think of myself now, so possibly that's part of the change in my perception. I doubt I'll challenge them in a sprint; it would be very short.
Amazing
Thank you for sharing your videos are really nice
Thank you 😊
Thank You....... I love your compassion for wild animals......,, I do the same thing here in Michigan, THANK YOU FOR REPLY..., New Sub 👍
Thank you. Our wildlife needs all the help they can get. I feel so sorry for any animal that is hungry.
No u do not feed wild animal cause u think the poor babies are hungry..its worst thing u can do and causes animals to be shot..they go to somebody else place and caus problems and then me mr animal control come sin traps em and shoots em or just shoots em ..gd way to love wildlife u have there..endanger the hell outta them lol
I live in the country away from people. I have never encouraged anyone to feed animals in the city. I have a Wildlife Biology degree and I have rehabilitated animals. I refuse to allow animals to starve after seeing them on my wildlife camera in extremely bad shape.
@@WesternKYBackyardWildlife Thank you. A reasoned response is always better than a one size fits all blanket.
@@WesternKYBackyardWildlife 🤔👍👍
I wonder what kind of food was in that thing because it attracted everything living in the woods.
It's complete nutrition dog food.
@@WesternKYBackyardWildlife Who put it there? Is that a hunting trap??😨😨😨😠😠
Not a hunting trap. About 4 years ago we had some hungry wildlife around our property. We set up a few feeding stations. I've shared the videos if you go back and watch.
@@WesternKYBackyardWildlife Nice to know. Bless you.
@@cloudridermrbliss7085 You get mad easy, ever thought of not watching these types of videos?
Coyote fox armadillo n raccoons cool vid
MsChuex LittleChuex and an Opossums
What’s in the feeder? Do ya got dog 🐕 or cat 🐈 food in there? Just curious, cuz I’ve never seen coyotes or fox 🦊 eat grains like corn 🌽, etc, before...... Great interactions and footage! Thank You
We started a feed station for the wildlife with complete nutrition dog food about 4 years ago when we saw a coyote and a fox in bad shape. With our cameras we noticed that it took the coyote a very long time to warm up to the idea of eating from the container. Once they realized the food was there they seem to eat out of them about once or twice a month. At this time we don't have domestic animals. Just wildlife ;)
Coyotes will get into corn, I'm a farm girl, seen it happen
What are you using in the feeder ?
Dog Food
At 9:50 the coyote is so paranoid 😂
grey fox not coyote
@@slockywush04 same family, both are varmints, and both are pest
Were do you live in western Kentucky because I may be close
We live just outside of New Concord, KY. Where do you live?
Hey there! I’m near New Providence.
Hey neighbor
These a pretty coyotes 💕
It's only 1 yote the rest r grey fox
TG G tasty looking
No one going to mention the freaky black shadow like thing starting at 10:06, at first thinking a tail till it bunched up and flew away 😨
What's to talk about? Hard to tell what it is but appears to be really close to the camera do it could be something that's not even very big. Just a dark shadow. Things do fly around in the night.
Yeah different bugs close up on a camera can look pretty cool. First thing I thought was, cool a bug landed on the camera, then flew away 🤦🏾♂️
Or the strange light movements at 3:22 on far left of screen just into the wood line?
Ayyye i live in eastern ky!! Good to see a ky channel
Which part of Eastern Kentucky? I was raised in Letcher.
Raccoons don't fear coyote but coyote fear raccoons
YEET GOD raccoons drown dogs. They are very smart and the added dexterity with their hands can make them a real threat.
Yeah they do. Coyotes kill raccoons. It's just raccoons are smart animals, and they will fight if they have to. A single raccoon isn't going near a coyote. But if they have numbers, and the coyote pisses it off, yes, they will fight back. They're not passive animals.
Raccoons are terrified of deer. A group of them pissed off a deer. Deer got pissed, scared them all off instantly. Raccoons aren't going to pick fights they can't win. They know their limits. They really don't pick fights, but they will fight back.
it seems that some of the animals are friendly look like the armadillos passing like theres nothing there while the coyotes is just like looking at them does nothing and keeps on eating
It has been fun and educational watching the wildlife on our cameras. My husband and I were very amazed at how well the animals get along with each other.
It’s because the coyote had no reason to attack, he has a food source, so no need to attack for food. The armadillo did not come off threatening by attacking the coyote or challenging it over the food. So the coyotes like, “why risk injury or go attack, I’m minding my business eating, their minding theirs passing by”
I delete the videos from my laptop after uploading them. We have 11 wildlife cameras around our property. I thought about putting eggs out for Easter :)
I didn't even know there were armadillos in Kentucky. I looked it up, and I guess they got there about 30 years ago, and they're still expanding their range.

Are the first couple of animals in this video Coyotes? To me they look like a kind of fox but I am not from around there anyway. Happy to be educated. Was the Opossum killed and did you decide to edit that out? It is funny how the opossum gets right in to the feeder and makes himself at home.
In the beginning there are two gray foxes (couple). The opossum was unharmed. The coyote just got him out of his way to eat dog food.
@@WesternKYBackyardWildlife Yeah that opossum is tenacious isn't he/it because later he/it is back and in the feed tray making it his own, Thanks, great video.
@@bigred8438 when should we see you in this video, big foot lives in ky 😄
@@WesternKYBackyardWildlife is it kibble in there? That's why the "wild dogs" are going nuts for it.
In the beginning, we added backyard cameras to our yard for security purposes, we saw hungry and starving animals. My husband and I decided to place some food out for them. We chose Purina's complete nutrition dog Food. Then, we got busy planting plants that benefit wildlife, and we added crayfish to our pond. I was talking with my husband about how we need to make a backyard video about the things we have done to improve our backyard. Unfortunately, being full time team truck drivers we have very little time to make a video while we are home. Maybe when we retire. :). We also have a CZcams Channel where we have shared a few videos "Jim and Jen Hammering Down."
theres no sound with this video. I'm trying to figure out the sounds I hear every night.
Most of our videos have sound. Unfortunately, a few don't. We purchased one wildlife camera not realizing it didn't record sound.
What did they say?
They say, "mine!"
What kind of food is in the hopper?
Complete nutrition dog food
Western Kentucky Backyard Wildlife, thanks man
Possums?
There is a opossom in the video.
6:16 obviously a member of Stand Your Ground
Coyote can't climb. Ha!
Looks like some interbreeding examples there?
Inbreeding?
Try to get animals sound if possible would like to hear the animals...
I have one camera that doesn't have sound, but it has better camera quality. My last two cameras that we purchased has better sound quality. We placed that camera on the birds
Raccoons fearsome, kin to bear, will fight coyote.
The raccoon at 10:45 is a Big boy.
Lol this is one of the funniest shit I ever see lol
Did the possum get eaten?
He wasn't ate, just ran off.
Possum got snatched like a purse .
Then, the opossum.comes back and sits in the feeder. Lol
What are they eating
Dog Food
First animal is GREY FOX!!!! NOT COYOTE!!! Coyote comes later.
I have a shorter version of the raccoons and coyote :). This video is all the short 15 second videos from the memory card of that site. I thought it was neat to see what was going on at the site over the 11 days we were gone from home. The coyote appears later in the wildlife videos.
I didn't see a raccoon attacking a coyote... Raccoons are scared of anything that looks like a dog... I spoke too soon... That big raccoon chased that fox off...
I rehabilitated a few raccoons. They are not passive animals. The raccoons in the video go after the coyote. The coyote tucks his tail and runs. Did you see the raccoon come out of the tree to pounce at the coyote?
@@WesternKYBackyardWildlife I have many decades of experience with raccoons... They don't attack anything just for recreational purposes... They will take only so much bull shit and threats from other critters... And then they will have a go at critters much bigger and stronger than they are... I lost one of my best female raccoons defending me and her home from a pit bull dog... I have learned that my southern raccoons are not as mean or aggressive or whatever you want to call it as the northern raccoons... It is very warm here on the gulf coast and we have mild winters and they have plenty to eat all year... I think that might make them less aggressive... And the people down here seem a bit more laid back than the cold climate people of the north... To me, the north is any where north of Mississippi's southern most county...
Raccoons are unpredictable. Some scare easy, some don't... They are pesky fighters. A group of them, could take down and even kill a coyote. They may look 'cute', but they're not pleasant animals. And they can be fearless too. They don't always get scared off by people too. Most aren't aggressive though.
8:20 one eyed raccoon, poor baby..😢
That poor ole possum, that coyote ate him.
Actually, the coyote is full from eating, so the opossum lives.
@@WesternKYBackyardWildlife then why did you cut the film when the coyote grabbed the possum by the neck?
We have wildlife cameras set up. They are motion sensor activated. They record for 15 seconds, pauses, and record again. The opossum finally got the hint and left. The opossum came back later. I love wildlife cameras, but you miss a lot with the motion activation. One thing to remember with wildlife is they don't want to get injured. If he killed the opossum he would be risking getting hurt. The coyote just wanted the opossum to go away while he ate. I have another video on here where the opossum plays opossum while the coyote eats.
if 2 a.m. in Mountains? i see THREE eyes? That's three-too-MANY. Therefore
ima outta there.
They usually run in small packs of 3 or 4. They are very cautious animals, and smart.
That is a big raccoon @10:44.
Have you ever seen a sick , probley rabid coon dieing , they crunch up in ball finally to weak to move and slowly die of from lack of water and food ! If a hungry Coyote had been around it would have been so much better ??!!
So where in this video did a pack of raccoons attack a cyote I didnt see it lol
2:50
Thats a fox getting chased off
The coyote gets chases off. He is larger than the 🦊.
Western Kentucky Backyard Wildlife I know. Ive shot my share of yotes. I didnt watch the whole thing but the fox at the end did get chased off

Dogs and cats need to be in doors. Protects the pet and the wildlife.
FYI, I believe that is a grey fox, not a coyote
My video begins with a grey fox and it's a coyote with the raccoons. Go back and watch my videos and you will see the differences between fox/coyote.
No sound
This video has sound?
You need another food stand so they can share 😞
We do. We have two. The other stand is in the videos with the stump. The stand is in the far right hand corner of the video.
If you go back through my videos we actually have several feeding locations and a pond. :)
@YourNatureBoy27 We have complete nutritional dog food in the feeders. Sometimes we place dog treats around the property for them to find.
We don't have any pets at this time. My husband and I drive a semi over the road and gone 11 days at a time. We had our lab on the truck for awhile. Our black lab was old and the traveling was to hard on her. Our son has our lab now.
Coyotes are smart but not all the time !
Mah dillos
Why was brummi not on a blanket in the crate the crates not good 4 any animal 2 lie on
? it's a feeder not a bed.
Fox very nervous, coyote hate fox.kill
Yeah, the coyotes moved in and out beautiful foxes left.
Did any one else notice that a cyote was there one second an just vanished the next at like 640
There was what looked like an opossum beside it
The motion detector probably turned off... happens with my security cameras, poof! And the car or person vanishes. Scared me the first time I saw that happen.
Yeah, the motion sensor kicks on and you get a 15 second video. I use Adobe Premiere to combine all the short 15 seconds together from each location of our wildlife cameras. At this time we have 11 cameras around our property.
yuck , do not like raccoons . they are vicious vile creatures . will kill your chickens for sport and just leave them lay
I rehabilitated a Raccoon and I loved her, but I also knew to release her before matting age. :)
