That's what I noticed. Obviously didn't communicate very well lol.
They could be stressed. Raising a child is serious business. Give them some time to realize what happened. ESPECIALLY if they weren't planning a child.

What makes me laugh is when someone opens an oven and they find a bun in the oven... and still they don't get it!!! Come on... look it up, because a bun in an oven means that someone is pregnant!!! I see people standing around holding the bun after taking it out of the oven and still they are scratching their heads over it... LOL!!! Hey, putting a bun in an oven is a good way of telling someone that you are pregnant and if they don't get, then maybe it's time to try something else!!!

I don't think kids know how to control their emotions yet.
They don't want the change. The older ones with a sibling are just not for it right then. It's not funny imo, they may be kids but the pain is real for them at the time.

Сначала ожидают реакцию которую хотят увидеть, а потом обижаются если такой реакции нет(восторга, криков). Это ваши ожидания. Реальность другая. Многим всё равно, но поорать и сделать театр, ради приличия могут, лишь бы не обидеть и не прослыть грубой, завистливой, неприятной. 🤷♀️
