- In the wake of a controversy surrounding the valedictory address and pro-Palestinian demonstrators on campus, the University of Southern California on Thursday announced its main graduation ceremony will not be held. Chris Wolfe reports for KTLA 5 News at 6, April 25, 2024.

@@teenyverse7707well usually college is 4 years for a bachelor degree. It can be 5 years but usually it comes from Cal State or a transfer student from community
4 years and probably $400,000 in student loans later they get no graduation.
I went to USC. There were graduation ceremonies for your particular school (business is the Marshall school, music, accounting, engineering…) Nobody gave a f about the main stage ceremony.

There were almost 100 students that qualified for valedictorian and they picked this women knowing full well this would cause a problem

She's also a strong supporter of terrorist groups and had already stated that she planned to use the ceremony for a protest activity.

USC students paid so much tuition and they get no grad ceremony. Have the ceremony somewhere off the USC campus and have security there. Simple fix.

The students also agreed to abide by the rules of the campus. They aren’t holding up their end of the agreement either. A contract binds both parties not just one side.
