Daveâs worth 200 million dollars. He might be a little biased.
I absolutely LOVE the âGreedy Rich Peopleâ series that you guys are doing!!! Thank you for this. More people need to hear this.
I can link you to plenty of other logical fallacies that you might enjoy.
No, will enjoy, i too will purposefully misrepresent you and your thoughts.
You're welcome.
You mean when Dave makes fun of taxing the filthy rich... who do not pay their fair share in taxes.

But he didn't paid for it. Taxpayers paid the his satellites.
I mean he called him greedy but heâs using it to describe someone with the means to help the world BECAUSE theyâre greedy and have optimized their life for wealth
My family met a very generous guatemalan man. We did jobs for him he pays well then gifted us a house! (Not joking) because he said all good people deserve a chance to have a home. Rich people change lives for deserving people. Ive seen it with my own eyes. đ„°đ„°đ„°

Am from Ukraine. Internet is here everywhere, except for heavily-shelled regions, of course, but even there we do have the Internet. But thank you, Mr. Musk, for that, absolutely!
When criticized about how a fraction of his wealth would solve world hunger, Elon replied, something to the extent of: "Where do I have to put my money? If I knew it was possible to solve world hunger, I would've solved it yesterday." Standup guy.
He didn't mean it.
Imagine pretending that was the only thing stopping him.
Those organizations reached out to him afterwards.
We can see where that has gotten us.
â@@panpluto13
Those organizations wouldn't know how to logistically make it happen even if they had an endless supply of money. They might be able to marginally reduce hunger with an endless supply of money, but that's not solving world hunger, not even close.
Exactly there is so much more underlying issues then just money. Governments are a big one. And I believe Elon will figure it out one day.

Me too. I can feel all the people being forced to realize rich people are people too, and some of them actually worked for their success.
Another fun thing about this segment is it always exposes the people that comment without watching the video lol

If these people kept up with real news then they would have recognized the click bait.

Mr. Beast seems to be a great candidate for multiple episodes of this right now.
I see Dave doesn't get how Starlink works. But anyway solid move on Elon's part.
Elon Musk is a mega genius. He's doing his part to improve human existence through innovation. If he's rich it's because he worked for it.
Sounds like Wile E Coyote.

I wish Elon had a plan to rescue the Boer in his native South Africa.
Well done, Elon. I have Starlink. It is amazing quality internet and absolutely independent of the three major internet providers in the US. I have it connected to a very large UPS so it will work in an emergency so long as the battery holds up and Starlink HQ is operational.
I wonder what Daveâs take is on Elonâs Nuerolink đ€
Been buying Tesla from the beginning and I never stopped! Boom!
How dare rich people help those in a jam! I had a student tell me in class, that they should give all their money away. 100%, "I said?" 100%. hmm
I can't figure out what a scintilla is?.... or if I can even spell it right....
anecdotal v systemic. doesn't detract that the rich should start paying taxes.
Oh I know, why not do the Koch brothers Dave! I suppose theyâre not evil either huhâŠ
That joystick is probably an Xbox controller if they're anything like the U.S. military.
You don't have to move any satellites there is already thousands in orbit, he Just send the receivers/antennas to get reception.
OEMs put down new contenders left and right in the past. But Tesla is beating them at their own game and its new game. Can't stop it. Same guy behind it stepping up like this is beyond words. Actions always are beyond words.
Lucid and Rivian have entered the chat.

Google the Giving Pledge. Elon Musk signed in 2012.
Elon did after all pay $5BIL+ in taxes. The most that any one person has ever paid in taxes in history, thus far.
Maybe instead of looking at a guy that just paid the most taxes by any single person in history, we start asking why politicians that provided literally nothing, become multi-millionaires as public servants.
At the end of the day what matters is that good thing got done not why good thing got done
Please have "greedy rich person" as a recurring segment!! đđ
You could do a bunch just on Shaq

Im sure their are some rich who are greedy n not great people. But i always liked that there are rich people in our country. They with or without purpose provide so many great jobs for us.

I still cannot tell if Elon most isnât James Bond villain or Batman. He has a network of satellites he can move around it will turn like a bond villain , but he want to put jet engines on the car and build his own private jet. This to go either way
Heâs the real Dr. Evil, but for cool and good ways!
The question is, which ones are the good guys.
Greed is good
It was multiple satellites and Dave Ramsey is no Elon Musk.
Elon dares to be different every time đ
These satellites are in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). This means the satellites are not stationary over the same place on earth. He probably didnt have to do anything other than send the receivers...
If you simply gave $100 once you'd likely have given more than the average person has in a decade.

Elon is one of my favorite âgreedy rich guys!â đ
Love this show! Keep doing great things.
Let not the right hand know what the left hand does that includes the rich Iâm sure a lot of average people have help in ways that will never be made public just my opinion
Dave, I listen to your show almost every day, but you don't always get it right, even though I have no doubt you have good intentions. One of the misunderstood aspects about the current Starlink network is that satellites somehow "need to be moved in place" to activate Starlink in a certain area. Sir, you are incorrect. There are over a thousand satellites already in place orbiting earth and right now cover almost all parts of the globe. The use of Starlink is simply geofenced to certain areas (Google the word!). Starlink can technically be used globally, however it's only activated and enabled to certain areas only, because of a phased rollout SpaceX is doing to work out product issues. Feel free to criticize Elon Musk (I do too!), but at least have an understanding of the basic concepts before pivoting your business into technology reviews. :)
Dave works in Finance, not technology or engineering. Along with that he is praising Musk not criticizing him
@@dewaldt8104 kinda my point. Also, someone criticizing is not necessarily fault finding. Google the word "Critique".
@@molivil He was praising him all through. He never said a single word to criticize him. I understand that some people don't have the ability to detect sarcasm (I dont mean to be offensive, trust me. People on the spectrum could be), so I won't drag it too much.

now do one on D Ramsey lol
This is a great thing by Elon. â€ïžâđ„
Love reading the comments. You can see which people didn't watch the video by their mind numbingly stupid comments.
I'm not a huge fan of Tesla. I think the science behind the business is cool. I like how they work towards living up to the name of Nikola Tesla. And I like Elon Musk. He can be a bit odd, but I like him.
As a point of clarification a satellite has to complete a full circle over the planet. The planet is rotating under the satellite. So at one point most satellites in orbit (not geostationary) will eventually pass over Ukraine. All Elon did was prioritize Ukraine for the satellites that pass over it. He didnât move a satellite. Still an absolutely wonderful act of charity and a technological marvel but I wanted to clear up the idea of orbital mechanics.
Four parachutes and that is an idiot proof.đ
And then he took it away, didnât he
I love Elon Musk⊠itâs not a joy stick. He is going to change the world.
Yep, rich people don't give anything for free. I raise the glass to ask them only for on thing... pay your taxes and you don't need to give charity anymore... From Sep 2021, New OMB-CEA Report: Billionaires Pay an Average Federal Individual Income Tax Rate of Just 8.2%
That's because income tax usually looks only at your salary. Most billionares are paid in stock options. When they sell their stocks they then pay capital gains tax.
Itâs getting annoying when Ramsey talks over his guests. Joe Rohan does not do that and look at where he is at now.
