- *UPDATE: Some people have said the pages warp/bubble when gluing them. So, if you don't want that to happen, you may want to try an alternative binding style for your Alice Journal. If you don't like sewing, you can try creating a card-hinge journal such as this one: whatsonmyporch...

For my projects, I use regular white printer paper from Walmart and 110 lb. Pen & Gear white cardstock.
My HP OfficePro 8710 jams when I use 110 lb Pen & Gear or Hobby Lobby Heavy Weight. Anyone else having this problem?
@@lindahartell8610 Yes I had to switch to 65lb card stock and I actually like it better.
3:00- your messy background is a work of Art my dear.
Stunning no sew journal 💜💙💖❤😊
Ik vind dit een fijne manier om journals of albums te maken. Gebruik deze methode bijna altijd.
I've just discovered how to use digital papers and I discovered etsy. I could spend a fortune. Love your projects. I'm going to binge watch your videos. Thank you.
I just purchased this kit and hopefully with the tutorials mine will look something like yours finished. Anxious to get started.
I am so glad I came across your channel. This has been a huge help thank you so much!
I bought that your kit and used it for my wedding invitations ❤
I already love everything I've purchased and created from your shop and had to go grab this kit too !!! So excited !! I'm an Alice crazy Grandma!! Hugs !!!
R u still having fun with the kits you purchased?.
I filled a little bottle with hand sanitiser and a couple of drops of blue food dye, then glued the cork top on the bottle. Will put a picture on the group page.
It's really really beautiful Stephanie, truly...!!! 😍😍😍
Thank you for sharing with us...!!!
🤗❤️😘🌹
Beautiful! Love how easy and quick it is to put together. Love how you decorated the cover! Love it!
I just discovered your channel after hearing you mentioned on Tatty Treasures channel.. This is an incredible tutorial 👏, thank you! I am a new junk journaller at the age of 61 and am currently making an Alice in Wonderland theme journal so this has been incredibly helpful to me. Obviously I don't yet have a stash as such, but I love the embellishments you used for the front cover and I am going to look for some. ☺
Just love this kit Stephanie. Thank you for the tutorial. Cutting out my ephemera.
Absolutely gorgeous! I love your kits! You are a very talented lady! Thanks for sharing!!😍
Beautifully done. I love this method of binding. My goal is to learn new binding methods this year. I’ll have to try this.
Love this journal cover!!

Hi Stephanie! New subbie here, I came over from Jenifers channel. I love your digi shop, you make such beautiful prints! Tfs and inspiring! Hugs, Deanna
So pretty going to try and start mine tonight.
Gorgeous! I am going to make a journal in this way. Thank you for sharing ❤️
You clever clever girl. I have been wanting to do Alice in Wonderland
Love this tutorial.
I have this kit and LOVE it!!!
Great tutorial and beautiful cover!!😍❤
This is so pretty! Amazing cover!
Love this idea!
This is just stunning. Love it so much.
That is a beautiful cover!! Do you think this style of “binding” could hold more pages? I like your suggestion that before gluing the pages you could sew a doily or other specialty paper to a page spine then glue. Great tutorial Stephanie.
So beautiful!
Love it very much
Love how this turned out - the only thing I would change is that I would've painted the keyhole black 😂
Love this style! My printer won't print on 100Lb plus paper. so im gonna try 90
This is going to be so cute
If u use fabri-tac or fabri-fix the paper won’t warp. Beautiful journal!
So beautiful.💜
I love these papers and tried so hard to get it all right. Unfortunately when it came to sticking the pages together I made such a mess of it. Tried my best to smooth each page out but mine is left with lump and bumps everywhere. May try again but may use double sided tape instead of wet glue next time. Yours is so lovely.
I love this ❤️
Stephanie how many pages did you use for this journal. I have your this journal kit and I am going to make this. This will be my first journal.
Love the videos and the prints! I have a brother laser printer and wondered what type you use?
I have a Canon TS9120
Beautiful so far and more to come, I'm sure. What thickness is the paper you use for the pages, please?
I used 110 lb. cardstock for the pages.
Were did you get the really beautiful tie thingy I’m sorry the one you used to tie your bow it’s beautiful!!
Could you make a video tutorial on your junk journal kit shabby rose folio pocket. I think it is a 4 x 6 size. I found it on Etsy when I was looking at your items and I thought it was so cute.
Hi! I don't have a tutorial for that particular one, but I do have a tutorial for another folio that goes together the same way: czcams.com/video/LBvQ6b_S1sE/video.html
I notice you always use the green brush for your adhesives. Is this a special kind of brush? Do you have issues cleaning it after?
It's just a basic paint brush with synthetic bristles! Nothing special, which is why we use it for the glue, since we are not too worried about ruining it. :) As long as you run it under hot soapy water right after using, we find the glue comes off easily.
The cover is beautiful! May I ask where you found the flowers, they are perfect? I want to make on for my granddaughter! Thanks. Sheila🥰
Thanks Sheila! I have link for the chiffon flower in the description, but the 3 little paper flowers were a gift, so I don't know where they are from. Sorry! I have seen similar ones at craft stores, tho.
Are these pages still available I love this
Yes! You can find them here: www.etsy.com/listing/802429901/
I love this journal and I will be getting it from your shop soon. But I did have a question...
At the end of the video @ 19:30 ... you mention that you will be covering how to decorate the pages with another video.
I have looked everywhere for this 2nd video, on the comments for the videos and every link there, your etsy site, FB pages and CZcams Video listings??
I can't find it anywhere.
Hello! Here is the link for part 2: czcams.com/video/ZlkNcS_2bow/video.html
@@myporchprints-junkjournalt5340 Thank you so much. Also have found the link to Part 3 ... searched in youtube for it.
Love this. Where did you get the material for the closure.
Thanks! I got the hand-stamped fabric ribbon from Tattered Laces on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/tatteredlaces
❤️where did you get the chip board flourish at top right?
Bonjour, quel est le nom du produit pour fermer l'album (le ruban beige), merci pour ce partage, bizzz
Hellosies!! So I purchased this digital kit and attempted to make my first journal from scratch using it a couple of years ago… I didn’t finish it because I struggled with the book not lying flat… and most likely my fault because I didn’t allow enough space between the front and back cover… 😢. Now 2yrs later I decided to go back through and fix it somehow… anyone else struggle with the same issue of it not lying flat? I took mine apart and have now made a slim 3/4” chipboard spine but now I’m trying to figure out how to insert pages… 😅. Any suggestions? I’d love to still use the kit pages… just not the card method…
You could always take out the pages and try binding them with binder rings. Otherwise, a more traditional method (like sewing your pages to your spine) may work better for your project.
@@myporchprints-junkjournalt5340 thank you!! I worked on it last night and sewed in a signature of avocado dyed papers and glued on the pages to it!! It’s coming along nicely!! The binder ring method could’ve worked too… I just loved the way my cover turned out and didn’t want to start over on that…
does the glued journal pages hold up?
The background in my papers looks brown, yours look greenish blue?
Color of a kit may look different depending on time of day, computer monitor, the camera it was filmed on, ink levels, printer type, etc. This is a pretty old video as well. For an accurate color representation, please see the product listing photos:

Are these still available in your shop?
How can I get this set I live in South Africa
Hello, all of our kits are digitals that you print yourself, and can be purchased from our Etsy Shop: www.etsy.com/shop/MyPorchPrints
Just type "Alice in Wonderland" in the search bar on the left, and you should find everything you need. Hope this helps!
@@myporchprints-junkjournalt5340 I am looking for alice in wonderland if you got kits please
