I just had to grow up and my skin has toughened now (I tried it on my face for the first time in years last week) but when I went to the play place on school holidays they would paint my arms! Otherwise maybe try makeup? I seem to remember makeup being okay when I tried my mums on as a child accept still to this day around my mouth and lips gets irritated
