The carrot didn't work because the order failed and then the game made the next carrot that was about to fail go out, but you guys seemed to do just fine regardless. Love the vids
It was so annoying though they already lost the multiplier
No just send it out.
For real though, there was not a single point in that level after you timed out that you had a multiplier. At no point would your delivery order have mattered. It didn't even complete the first and second orders at the end like you thought it did, it completed the first and third, which would not be qualified for a multiplier anyway. It does it that way because those dishes are the ones that are closest to timing out, so you saving time out penalties instead of gaining tip multipliers, which would be instantly cancelled by the timeouts, so the game was helping you the whole time and you were yelling at it because you didn't understand that.

Nibbieful.. you should play Overcooked online four player.. the amount of times they get the order wrong and skipped orders its unbelieveable... of course i rage at them.. preparing.. listen asshole.. i am on my own.. frying fish and chips, also ive to do lettuce and tomato plus wash dishes..were already at three stars you two just have to chop the fish and chips so STFU..looool.. i know i need to calm down

they've play far too long to not notice that if they fail an order that 'failed order' is actually in a new set of row in priority, although the game doesn't show it on their HUD. so example for 3 whole order,
#1 is carrot dumpling and #2 is fish and #3 is MeatD.
If CarrotD failed then the CarrotD move to #3 and Fish is #1 and MeatD is #2.
If Fish then failed, CarrotD move to #2 and then Fish #3 while MeatD is now #1 in priority.
although they do not change position on the HUD with number, their priority has definitely change.
so move your attention toward the set that has yet 'fail' if you failed an order or two. Try to look past the failed one, that is the one in immediate priority.

Or more simply stated: whichever order is closest to running out. If you've missed an order or two that might not be in the first slot--but it'll still have the lowest bar.
Yeah, I couldn't believe that they've played what must be... just so many hours of this game and not realised the fail order mechanic. It's interesting to see, though the frustrating part is when they blame the game before wondering if perhaps they're misunderstanding. Still super fun as always to watch though!
@carlotta4th yup the less timer bar is colored, the higher it's priority. That of course if they realize that on the order HUD the three separated bar above the image of the food is a timer. but the game could make it easier if the just put gold square frame or colored number on what is higher priority. e.g #1 is gold, #2 is silver then #3 is bronze/copper colored and the rest is bluish grey(default). I'm sure in real kitchen there has to be much more efficient way of saying "prepare this one first" rather than just putting order paper clipped on string, because some food do takes longer than the other to prepare.
@nasecoo and they did played the first one too, it has the same "system" but sure, dev could make the game much easier by tweaking their HUD especially for those who skipped the first one.

I've been meaning to say this for a while (and it probably too late now), if you have an order ready but it's not the first in line, JUST SEND IT! You get a bigger tip from them for getting it early. You don't lose any points for doing an order out of order you only lose points for missing an order.
noo bc it will break the streaks, you got to send it one by one by order to get the streaks. at first i didn’t novice it but when i keep playing i found that sending it by order actually matters

after washing the dishes you should have just put them on the counter above the sink and moved it to middle position you could still get the plates there.
also anyoone else notice the Onion king is doing the penutbutter jelly time banana dance?
When you miss a order it goes to others that have less time so you can’t get the multiplier

that's his thing. he stands there doing nothing, realizing things half an hour late, and whenever he finally does an action he shouts "BAM!" as if he did something super important lol
This sort of game isn't really his specialty. It's weird, because when they first started playing RIK seemed like he wasn't getting it, but he's really stepped up to the plate and become a great member of the team since then.
Because he doesn't always have much to do, as four players are one player too much in some levels. He does the rest if needed, otherwise he would get to much in the others way. The other three are always very active from the beginning and taking all the jobs, so he is figuring out what he can do.
I can't wait to see Kevin 11.

If they used the counter space on the raft to pass back and forth they could have moved faster. Ex. At 8:50 if he put the plate on the edge after washing it then the other person could have grabbed it once the raft was in the middle section instead of waiting for the belt to move

Hahhaa price! Watch back these videos to find out what happens to a dish when the time runs out. Its kinda weird but the first two just become fully grean again and after those two they seem to dissappear. But it is something to figure out to know hoe to handle it!
