- “Earthquake - The Big One” which replicates an 8.3 Richter scale seismic shift inside a 1989 San Francisco BART station, has been revamped as a modern subway stop, complete with electric bikes and sleek white tiles.
Don’t worry, “Earthquake - The Big One” hasn’t lost any of the thrills its namesake promises. Complete with a fire, a ceiling crashing in, a gas tank sliding into the station, a flood - all fabricated with practical effects, of course - the 21st century spin on the crowd favorite won’t disappoint.
About The World-Famous Studio Tour
Explore the largest and busiest motion picture and TV studio in the world. More movies and television shows have filmed on this lot than any other lot in the world.
Visit 13 city blocks on four acres of historic studio lot in the largest set construction project in studio history, built with creative consultation from Steven Spielberg himself.
You’ll laugh along with comedian Jimmy Fallon, the video host of the Studio Tour. The star of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” introduces entertaining clips seen on HD monitors in the trams to augment the live Studio Tour guide narration.

This has sound effects from the 1994 release Beverly hills cops iii
Just Like On “Beverly Hills Cop III”
I think they disabled the power pole that swings down in front of the truck because the metal bench is what made it spark, and the metal bench is no longer there, so my guess is that they need the metal bench in order for it to work.
Fix the darn swinging electric pole and put back the Tesla coils!

While I’ll admit sometimes the commentary during the sequence is cheesy and distracting, having NO commentary from the tour guide is just odd. Was she distracted?
I'm glad it's that way. All tour guides have finally been told to "can it" during the show. It really ruined the experience, its best to let the sounds speak for themselves.
